NICE . e39 540i 528i 523i etc use a pretty much all ali rear subframe if you want to go to the trouble of swapping it all out again. but maybe a little weight in the rear will help it out

i dont think you will find a 323i 325i 328i use much more fuel than 320i (they have to rev higher and dont create much power or torque unless you rev them heaps)325i 328i would be much higher geared and have better torque to pull the car along. if you are going drag all the weight around of a 6cyl engine and gearbox you might as well have more of it moving up and down and creating power rather than just being static weight etc. if you want ecnomey get a later 318is with the 4cyl 1.9L engine in motorsport spec etc

they have some hidden screws up underneth the front bumper edge above the fog lights and at the back edge of the bumper , and front edge of the rear bumper , front and back edge of teh side skirts etc. then mostly they use urathane to just glue it on . good score there, i saw that one the other day . easy enough to swap the trans out , most likly a jatco . sometimes they are just low on trans oil and new a filter etc . but most likly worn clutch packs

my old original e28 m535i engine with tall 3.07 diff 9L per 100km open road and 12L per 100km around town etc my 328i coupe 5spd 3.15 diff about that same my 328i touring about the same if not a little bit better due being a nz new with ZF auto and 3.07 diff e28 with 3.65L M5 engine 3.73diff 12-14.5 per 100km or more e34 530i with 4.4L v8 with 5spd manual 3.15 diff 13.5L open road and about 16L town , its really sucking it up , but hopefully will be better after a remap as i am running the M62B44 engine on a 4L M60 ecu set up so not ideal ( a bit lean at cruise speed so you have to put the foot in more to keep at a constant speed)

well i have to say i still quite like the e34 even after i said to myself recently that i probably wouldn't bother buying another one after i sold the alpina kitted 535i one i had . but after being away the last few days on holiday driving the e34 v8 manual i have come to like them again , much better car than the e36 328i touring or coupe on a long drive (to busy and bumpy etc) , and alot smoother than my e28 m535i, the only thing i dont like is watching thre fuel gauge drop down so quickly , but i suppose i cant complain as it is after all a 4.4L V8 . will see what its like after a remap though .

thats a small case diff , no good . yours will be a medium case diff (different driveshaft and axles flanges etc) . can do a 3.15 medium case diff from a 325i manual 021433600

what shocks can you offer to go with the e34 v8 springs??

should be 235/40-17" for e36 or 225/45-17"

maybe the old aerial system is buggered. check all the conections at the aerail and plug end , any way you shouldn't really use anolog rubbish tv chanels with a modern tv they wont do it justus . new tv is widescreen old anolog tv broadcast is 4:3 and much lower quality . just change chanels through the sky remote etc. can help if needed.
