corect . 525i e28 had a M30 engine . 525e had a m20 2.7L engine . you can use a e34 525i 88-90 M20 engine for a e30 if needed

use to have a 67 HR wagon , (rolled it ) then cut the roof off , i reckon it handled better with no roof

resonably rare ,all the centre console ,glovebox and right side under dash panel all leather covered .quite a few sth african built cars imported via japan i have seen have this.

sorted the auto problem out , (was changing gears when it was design to do , and i dont like that ). so I swaped it out for a manual 5spd . used a e36 328i gear lever to shorten the throw distance etc . and manage to find a matching leather covered glovebox to replace the silly TV thing . fitted a large case 3.45LSD to replace the silly mid size 3.91 open diff. just need to sort he stereo out now .

its all listed here . 5speed conversion e34/e32 just had my e34 535i done . last week . so much better to drive now .

my e28 with 502,000km still drives straight . its just its had most things that wear replaced twice by now. my e34 has only 68,000km and feels like new . i dont care to much for millage ,as look as it has been looked after and serviced .

not sure what the problem is , but i have a e38 seats for sale with memory functions , maybe swap the control box over from under the seat. 021433600

just upgrade the calipers and discs etc to e34 or e32 etc . i have some .

a mate of mine got one off trade me a little while ago $1200nzd . but they dont come up often . i think that was the first one . normally sell with the m5 engines . about $6-8k

+1 .yes thats why i am going back to a e34 . selling the e39 . not that the engine is the main concern its all the %^*&*& around it that packs up. when the M30 just keeps on going like the rabit

yes you can fit lsd , get a lsd clutch pack from any large case e34 /e32 /e28 /e24 /e23 and fit your e39 . turn of the TC and have fun . looking at putting together fun a e34 530i V8 that i have sitting around with no engine in it ,i have e34 540i engine trans etc . the 530i has no TC and i have a lsd to go into it . should be fun .done on the cheap.
