the 39 540iT we had with my wife driving it around town and a short run to the country school was getting around about 13.5L per 100km . i cant seam to get the 535i 5spd e34 under about 14.5L per 100km . i have just filled the first tank in the e34 530i with the 4l engine trans diff etc in it . got 512km from about 70L . thats me pushing it around abit for about 200km then lent it to a mate who drove around town and did the sth to nth auckland comute etc . so thats about 13.5L per 100km . not much worse than the e36 325ci 5spd that i drive daily

a freind of mine sold genuine example like yours recently but had tied paint avg wheels etc etc around $3k . but a good one like yours $4-5k M535i seam to fetch a bit higher for tidy ones . but you never know you might just find the right buyer who likes it .

yes just the torque convertor locking up . its only a 4 spd auto.

have some good near new caps , not sure on the rotor though . $60 for good one

boy the nz new cars seem to have the worst colour interiors

did you put it on a truck , shouldn't tow a auto with a rope . maybe viscous fan unit not keeping up .

there was red one owned by a guy that use to work at european auto spares , he thrahed it all the time. i wonder if its this one

some afm and other micro circuits in the automotive electronics have a very soft sillica jell that is put inside and filled right up .have seen it myself .

i just retro fitted a modern jvc headunit to an orginal wirring and boot mounted amp in a e34 535i same type of system as used in the e36 . . all works ok, just has to be done properly .

have a ti black carpet , i think they are the same .easy job just takes time. come and learn how to pull it out of the donar car 021433600

i sold him those wheels orginally . they come from a e32 /e38 750i etc i do have other 16" wheels . like these in the pictures and maybe some 16" bbs basket weaves like on my silver car in my sig picture

you are a week to late my mate just sent off a e34 535i shell . mostly complete too. i havegot shells but no plates etc . do get offered all the time. send me a email and i will keep an eye out for one. actually my other mate will have something black 89 535i , its complete now , but might want to part out . will pass on the info

lsd only any use when in the wet when you want to go side ways , or drag racing starts . dont be to concerned as you can fit them easy enough . i have one spare if needed
