i agree thats your best option . just stick the std e34/e32 211hp(will need to swap sump and oil pump over form old engine ) or e28 /e23 /e24 218hp 3.5 engine bolt straight in . use the e28 or e24 wiring loom and ecu . simple HP upgrade , and then if you want go for headers cam retune ecu etc . dont bother mucking around with the 2.8L engine. might be able to help you with a 3.5 kit ecu loom etc , straight bolt and hook up job.

only the manual flywheel uses them .just goes between the bolts and the flywheel as a sinlge washer instead of 6 seperate ones

go on , you will learn lots on the way . the net is full of info .and make some new freinds in euro land or the states. what about commssioning marty put it into his e23 735i manual . that would give people a bit of a scare when you go flying by them like its a 911 turbo

yes too many , lots of wof's and reg's , insurance etc .tv goes , but its only ntsc so only black and white with snowy pic and no sound (wrong sound freq) . yes i know , hit ya knee when you jump in . is a colour crt tv but only has NTSC tuner so only b/w and with no sound .

yes i love it , but anything is for sale at a price, i am a bit worried that my with all the kids will wear it out a little . so maybe better go to good home . other wise i'll keep it , convert to a 5spd fit a nice stereo and enjoy my newish car . yea yea , why dont you just fit that Turbo engine into that 530i e34 body i have sitting in you paddock and then sell it , or maybe temp me with it if its any good

like mine on the e28 and the e39 , they come with hub sizes , for layter e39 and e38 bigger , and early type from a e34 and e32 . the 8" wide are close to the struts on my e28 AND SOME TYRES will rub the front strut.

535is is teh proper name for a e34 , the older e28 used M535i in euro version and us version got te 535is . but only 535is in the e34 version (meaning sports seats , suspension , steering wheel , spoliers etc).

so i will have to go through the manual conversion thing all over again . was looking for another e34 V8 , but settled on this e34 beacuse of the millage and condition etc . drive real nice , very tight , only shows 66,000km , sth african built ex japan , 17" alpina's , front and rear alpina spoliers , steering wheel , 255 and 235 tyres . stupid tv thing instead of a glove box . cruise control , leather centre console etc . very simlier to the other black one i sold with the hartge bits .
