i have this engine needs work . also have a freind with another block with the head off from e34 525i pick up only 021433600 trade me.

i have a 3.64 medium case for a e30 325i . but i also have a 3.15 raito medium case e34 diff . you can remove teh gears and fit them to a e30 case . also have 3.25 and 3.46 ratio's from old e28 etc same story.

all m20 m50 m40 boxes swap around the difference is the angle that the motor sits on depending on the chasis . but they all have the same bellhousing size .

yes its LSD . he also has a brand new BMW aero kit to go on the car . yes they did make a m5 touring but only in LHD

i have a good donar engine .loom , ecu etc .

so we made one ourselves . this belongs to a freind of mine . 92 525i touring auto , brought from a wrecker , car has been sitting for about 2 years (in old owners back yard)with suspect blown headgasget or cracked head etc . ripped out the 2.5L m50 engine auto trans , exhaust , diff , rear subframe,drive shaft etc etc . replaced it with a 3.5L m30 engine 5speed manual box (from a donar car that has a tatty UK import body and shaggy interior) , matching driveshaft , m5 rear subframe and 3.91 LSD diff , soon to have front M5 suspension fitted to match . replace the slelf leveling rear shocks with some good springs and shocks needs a good clean up ,double sunroof mech needs repairing , new hood linning , some decent wheels etc etc . i have just been getting it going for him , sorting all the engine wiring loom , made a adapator cable should be a good car when all done ....

my mate has shoe horned a M30 3.5L and 5spd manual engine etc with M5 front and rear suspension into a 92 525I touring . but the engine plugs are different . so just want to make a adpator loom so we can plug it in and get it running . have all teh ecu loom and ecu in place etc . just need the pin diagram with the colours and what they are so we can match them up . please help as its in my shed at the moment . and i want it out quickly . cheers

if you have had a flat battery , it might have reset itself to us fm freq. so normally hold done tune up and down buttons then turn it on . or check your manual . did you buy it in nz ?

my hartge built engine got 132kw at the wheels .with no fancy headers or cam , but with 10:1 pistons hartge cylinder and valve work ,modified ecu etc . gavin at hi-velocity had a factory alpina b10 e34 he got about 140kw at the wheels (cam, head work, valves , modified ecu , headers 10.5:1 pistons) same dyno . stock e34 535i about 110kw stock e28 535i about 120kw

yes just get the crank , pistons and rods from a 530i 730i engine etc .better just to go to a 3.5 set up . if you are going to carry all that weight ,you might as well have the power and torque of the 3.5L engine .
