about $2 to $2.5K. they are a getrag 260/5 for early box upto about 1985 or 260/6 from 1986 onwards or getrag 265 78-87 etc which is the close ratio box with a dog leg 1st and 1:1 top gear. but all need to be from a m30 engine , not m20 etc can also use getrag 280 from the m5 m6 etc . i have a kit for sale

yes i agree .i replaced all the rods and bushes on mine and still have side ways slope , found the little ball on output shaft from the gearbox has a hole in the side of it and is worn oval . so i would need to pull the back of the gearbox off to replace or weld some metal in and redrill or redrill bigger and use a bigger pin.

i have some vented brakes discs with calipers from e30 .easy bolt on job . 021433600 $80 for the front kit

if they are any good they should be able to use the factory amp etc . just need a diagram if you cant do tracking circuits very well . it actually has a tuner box in the boot that looks just like std e36/e34 radio with no face . has same e36/e34 loom plug that you can buy at repco etc . to adapt to new head unit with long wires up to the front , might have to leave neg terminals off from new head unit speaker outputs .

good work . the brakes in that M745i are pretty good as std . i think they have the M brakes package . but maybe not that good for a big v8 lump . man i have just moved the v8 trans its a massive piece of kit . very BIG and heavy. good luck with the work , should go pretty well . ps. no V12!!!!!! eh

get your ecu retunned by gavin at hi-velocity , he does it with a dyno so you can see the results

the smg box is good for the track , but a pain to drive around town etc . in auto its jerky and a lot more complex if something goes wrong . only ferari make a decent one
