S54 , have a spare if needed. I would if i had a spare tidy e30 coupe laying about at least it would be worth something at the end of the project if done to a high standard

na m70 and m73 use same bolt pattern for the gearbox nothing like a 6cyl m50 m52 m54 etc

no only early e28 and e24 from same years like 1981-1982 etc scrap value really

yes , diif mount and floor of car is differnet location (offset ) etc , different shape diff head and flange bolt holes wont line up if you cant bolt the later e28 rear cover to it then a e30 wont fit either been there done that ,

part number 33111208295 rear flange gasket , only suits early diffs http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/E28/Europe/528i-M30/1982/browse/rear_axle/final_drive_cover_trigger_contact/ trust me have tried it out many years ago

yes higher flow injectors , havn't looked up on the spark plug specs , they just came with the kit
