yea pain , not really suppose to use the locks on all these newer bmws , they will all break , you should be using the remote buttons on the key , and if they are not working get them sorted . you can make a mess of the lock then turn the latch part with a screw driver . so new lock and key will be required , or smash a window ? try prying the top of the door open , use a plastic wedge , get a wire in there to pull the door handle or push the central lock button can do a door glass $120 front or $90 rear , don't do the quarter glass (much harder to change) call me if you like

whats longevity mean to you when your in the ditch or a powerpole etc , go for stickyness over long life in tyres i see so many bmw's coming in for wrecking that have a mixture or rubbish tyres , old tyres and very bald tyres etc .

had a simlar unit to this a few years back , didnt mind the LHD thing after driving it for a day or 2 . only other issue with the LHD jap ones as they come with the stupid US spec low compression engine so only about 180hp instead of the euro ones we get here with 218hp the one i brought and sold was a lot less than this one and at the time there where LHD m6 models kicking about for that money.

i remember this car when it was on TM as a 316i with a stuffed engine or dented guard etc for about 10% of that price ,

temp sensors are on the back the engine , ali block that goes between the heads , 2 sensors , one for the gauge one for the ecu , the one on the radiator is just to activate the aux fan
