It's a shitport unfortunately. But it might do the trick for a bit, needs wheels.
-
Nope, swapped a hyundai i30 diesel for it which I paid 3500 for. Still have the 320d. It will be for sale as soon as I get round to it lol.
-
E60 is twice as big as this car, this Vulva is more 3 series size, oh and it owes me 3500 only as it sits now.
-
Nah mate, 2.4 5 cyclinder petrol. LOL once again, this is a school bus that will rarely see anything above 60kph.
-
Those are old turd buckets compared to a newer Volvo, they've moved along a bit since those cars.
-
I admire the passion but t's going to be going to supermarkets, schools and kindergartens and will barely reach above 60kph. No one cares about understeer and weight distribution on a school bus lol. Anyway, I wouldn't call a Volvo a poorly designed car. Going to the mag wheel man here in Dunners today with it to order some similar wheels to this :

Never. I'm guessing the d means diesel, never knew Lexus did Diesel.
-
Relative I guess. Pay less at the start get less at the sale. I'd never compare them to a bmw but they ain't no Toyboata either. Very safe feeling to drive and quite clever and has an epic roar from that 5 cyclinder donk.
-
Lol have you actually driven one?
-
The poor old 320d is getting in a bit and with nearly 3 years of ownership it's time to shift it along. Yes it's a Volvo. We like the safety aspects and like the rear child seats built into the seats avoiding cumbersome child seats. I bought sight unseen as I couldn't get away from work. Upon first driving it I've noticed the rear wheel bearings are screwed and that the engine has a whirring noise which gains pitch and volume with engine rpm. I'm guessing a tensioner or bearings to do with the belts? The cambelt was recently replaced by the Volvo dealers in ChCh. Can anyone tell what the noise would be before taking it to a workshop? Have posted a pic and video. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9bWnLUqJqVU

760's are in most cases 3x the price. Would it really be worth it?
-
How can women drive when they're in the kitchen? Thread is pointless IMO.
-
Are they that cheap now? Vowed never to touch another one after my last one which was an 05 Range Rover NZ New diesel, FSH but f**k was it a mongrel to keep on the road, owned it 3 months, 8 weeks of that in total was repairs.
-
^^^ 300k on a 6 year old RRS? I'm guessing 50k on the car and 250 on yearly repairs lol?
-

W211 E-diesels vs E60 5-diesel vs XC70 diesel
deeveus replied to lord_jagganath's topic in Other European Cars
That will only be because they are auto's! -
Probably just the media winding things up as usual.
-
It would have to be a bloody good 02-05 E65 for 15-20k - Mine has 195kms but luckily it turned out to be ok and I paid 6k for it, NZ New with FSH, could have gone the other way but at 6k it would be at least worth half that in parts.
-
You'd only buy a new one if it was under a company so that devaluation can be semi claimed, or you're just bad at maths and like loosing 100k a year on a car, in-fact if you bought a brand new 760li for 350k I can guarantee you it would be worth less than 150k the following 12 months. The house always wins, don't pass go, surrender 200k please.
-
If it was a phase 3 with those kms they'd be asking 300k AU I'd say.
-
Here's one if your fella is still looking for one.. it's an import though & I just hate it how the number plates never fit on the back of these! http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/auction-747548393.htm
-
Yerp, IMO it needs fire and the owner needs a reality check lol. Then again, it has been for sale for two years..
