Trying to change my sig, followed this but must be for the old website? Will add it and link it here.

Manuals have their place. I personally wouldn't have one on my mind in my E65. With nearly 200nm more than the M5, I'd prefer the auto.
-
Hmmm, the fact that it is pretty much half the asking price and half the desirability if it's not genuine. Time and time again we strike non genuine cars on TradeMe. If it is WAB I think the start of that VIN means Alpina, whereas standard cars are WBA

More to the point, what classic is it you are buying?
-
Putting it like that.. I'd be horrified.
-
Given that the pricks must have known what to look for..
-
Good result. Must have been cheap. Your sig tho..
-
I think it's priced about right as it's wholesale really from turners. Let's not forget also that it's a 14 year old imported S class with a 5.8 V12 that can potentially have more issues than a red headed step child. Not something that will tick many boxes for some people.

The new M5 does something similar only it uses the cars speakers.

c**ts. GL with the search.
-
You could go see my bro in law at the Dunedin WOF Centre. They've scanned all my cars there without issues. Be a lot cheaper than Cookies.

Those are 225kw I thought? He's 50kw off which is quite a bit unless it's been remapped or tunes, and I don't want something that will happily run alongside another car. Can't compare it to an RS4 if there's anyone here that's driven one..

You only live once. But perhaps I abide by that philosophy a little too much lol..

I've owned a E60 6 cylinder and it had it's fair share of issues too. Later on I had the V8 and it was far more fun to own. Luck of the draw I guess. I've got an E65 at the moment with what appears to be the only N62 engine without faults lol.
-
The E39 and E60 530i's are virtually the same in fuel consumption and performance, I'd get the V8 if it was me, say it used 3 litres per 100 more than the 6 cyclinder, that's only $7.50 ish more per 100kms than the 6 and you get way more thrills and noise with the V8!

Awaiting to answer my question..

I'd get it checked out, if it checks out ok, don't hesitate, but yes they are common rail as they have the M47D20 engine (100kw 280nm) - these engines also don't have the swirl flaps. I've had my 320d for nearly three years now and have had no mechanical issues, bar maintenance. It's coming up 245kms now and no signs of fatigue. There was only 10 Motorsport 320d E46 manuals bought in by BMW. I've got mine remapped and it totally changed the car as well.

What grade sand paper would you recommend?

Anyone got any tried and true solutions to restoring headlamps I.e removing the yellow off? Was told by one person to use autosol but thought I'd try here's first in case I make a balls up of it. Cheers.

I do remember such a thing. The cars that it supported are still around mostly. Why get rid of it?.
-
Awesome. I've pm'd you Ron.
-
Did he say to stick it out the side like the leg out of bed?
-
SIPS needs to be called. That M5 has been neglected.
-
Forgive the ignorance but what does that part do sorry? Does it Bluetooth your phone or?
-
Is it just me or are the E60s getting better looking with age? Especially in Motorsport form.
