  1. Yup. Might get Justin to repaint those 13" rims. They suit it for the period lol. Yeah fresh cote of hell red will sort it.
  2. I remember one time I had my mechanic up at my place doing a raft of things to our car and he accidentally damaged a temperature sensor well the seal buggered out when removing it, we couldn't do a single thing until that was sorted as we overhauled the entire cooling system. Gave the mechanic some lunch and a cup of tea and within that time we had a new temp sensor delivered. Epic service.
  3. I thought Saab were gone burgers?
  4. $400 which is probably quite steep but had they motor fully redone 6 months prior to parking it up. Owner could no longer drive. Interior is totally immaculate and original with push button FM radio. Aircon even blew cold.
  5. Didn't seem to be an issue in my day lol. The front windows wound down..
  6. Was leaving a job today coming back down the road when I noticed an old N12 Pulsar EXA. I've not seen one in years on the roads. I had one as a first car so when I got talking to the chap I ended up buying the fkn thing. It's been off the road 3 years and not started since that time. It started 2nd pop but only because the carb and filter were empty as and is a very sweet little runner with only 117,000kms. Plans are to take it for a wof get the issues sorted and then get it fully panel and painted. They're as hideous as they come but hold a lot of memories for me. Everyone must remember their first car?
  7. Paul is brilliant. Have used him a fair bit and it's cheap but über fast delivery and service.
  8. It's 18 cheap Vulvas or one very good one.
  9. Argh, so $1800 bucks later, car is nearly done.. Two rear wheel bearings and an alternator and rear bumper repainted. I no longer think this car will last lol.
  10. A lot of money for two tyres lol. You guys should get on board with brands like "Goodfriend" and "Goodride" tyres at considerably less prices.
  11. That would give me the shits, quite literally. I would have told them you were selling them for someone else and that it wasn't up to you to shift them for $145.
  12. Give him a yell, tell him the manufacturers are recalling those tyres due to a defect in that the tyres explode when driven over 5kph and that you will refund his money.
  13. Yeah it was Heineken too. Labels front in your tiny piss fridge. I think he was ripping a tree out when you first bought the place. You might have been out playing chess.
  14. Lol. Might try that excuse next time myself.
  15. 130kph is too fast. Some policemen will come then you might go to jail and then a nice big man might want to...
  16. Anyone here done this? Can anyone recommend a carrier/handler or website? Thanks in advance.
  17. Jeez they are getting cheap.. Be bloody sluggish tho with that engine. Even the 4.2's aren't much stick.
  18. And requiring a new pair of junk draws at a guess lol.
  19. Will be for sale for a long time at that price. Looks like a riced standard 320i IMO.
  20. Justin doesn't know it yet but I've already been in his garage and beer fridge with his father in law and I haven't even met Justin yet lol.
  21. Aye, I do like the new R-Design Volvo's, dunno what they are like to drive and own but they look good and for some people that's all that matters.
  22. Sorry Ron, but I just couldn't help myself, just a bit of banta lol.
  23. Mine wasn't - but then mine was automatic which deserves to be shot at dawn, when pushed hard my one would understeer like a bitch, but that's only because of the big 3.0d anvil up the front. But then again, I never bought that X5 to be a handler, to push to the ragged edge every time I jumped in it.
  24. Hahah, interesting take and who knows Scott, it might not even last that long, however we did have her 320d for 3 years though. My opinion is that for what this car will be used for being FWD won't make a sh*t of difference.
