  8. I painted mine about two years ago. I cleaned them well first, then sprayed them with a heat resistant primer, then three coats of heat resistant red. They still look as good as the day they were painted.
  9. I am having trouble with my Bimmersport site. I don't know what I have done, but I have lost the "Whats on in the Forum" section of the home page. If I log out, then this section returns but goes when I log in again. I have deleted my cookies to no avail. I think I might have accidentally clicked on something I shouldn't have, but for the life of me I don't know what. Can any one here help please? Thanks Brian.

  15. I urgently need to sell this car. It is a 1992 E36 318i 4dr Sedan in Burgundy. It has travelled 221,000kms. Mechannically it is quite sound although the seals in the diff need replacing. It got a brand new WoF yesterday, and has current Rego. Body wise it is very straight and in good condition. It has genuine ///Msport alloys and an M3 type spoiler. Special Bimmersport price of $2,500.00 It will go on Trade Me as soon as the weather fines up and I can get some photos with a reserve of $3k The car can be viewed at Papatoetoe. Phone me on 021 393334 Thanks Brian.

  17. Thanks Graham and Penry. Your advice was very helpful.
  18. I have recently obtained a Freeview decoder which I want to hook up to my home entertainment centre. Just a couple of questions. 1. Can I use my Sky dish as the aerial (I still want to be able to operate my Sky) or do I use the old analogue aerial. 2. If I can use the dish, can I run the aerial in series with the sky decoder. If anyone here can help it would be most appreciated. Thanks Brian
  19. I have a 1992 318i sedan for sale. Yes it is an auto however I only want $3,000 and if your budget is $6k then you will have enough left to do a manual conversion.

    HB Graham (Bravo)

A very happy birthday to you Graham. Don't drink too much. Ah bugger, just get pissed and have a damned good time. Cheers Brian.
  21. Welcome aboard stagecrew, and I see you have a Touring, that will please a few of the touring affectionados here.
  22. #1. Ferrari 250 GTO - $28.5 Million We now present you with the most expensive car crash ever. Touted as the Ferrari that most successfully embodies the traits of the marque, the 1962-64 Ferrari 250 GTO became the most valuable car in the world. In 2008 an anonymous English buyer bought a 250 GTO at auction for a record $28,500,000. The crash below represents a car worth more than the combined value of all 14 Enzos involved in accidents. It is simply unbelievable that an owner would even dare take this car on the road. After a track event involving historic cars, the owner of this rare beast rammed into the back of another car after traffic slowed down. Crash20.bmp
  23. #2. Ferrari 250 GT Spyder - $10 Million Just when you thought it couldn't get much more expensive, the damage has been multiplied. The record price for a 1961 250 GT California Spyder at auction was set on May 18, 2008 when a black one was sold for $10,894,900. So what is one doing buried in the sand? The unlucky owner had it stored near the beach when a Hurricane hit. Crash19.bmp
