This I like.I have to admit I too have the hairdresser hang up a bit. But,my brother has an 06 Z4,different car I know,but driving it is a real rush + I like convertibles even if everyone thinks you're in the middle of a mid life crisis.

Hey Swiggs-nice buy.You're goanna love it.Very different to drive than the 7-heaps more fun. I took my 97,which has factory m-sport suspension,for its first serious stomp(& I mean serious) last Sunday around some of HBs back roads(about 2 hrs & a bit illegal) & I was buzzing.Most fun I've had since I sold my Cosworth. Mate,October wont come fast enough!!! With your experience of the 7 your 5 wont hold any surprises-mechanically.Very similar Enjoy!!

You could well be right-all the Hamanns I can see on the net seem to have their name on-mine certainly dont.There are all sorts of code stamps etc on the inside spokes but the only word is 'Germany' Anyone else able to throw any more light on this?

Just got the factory build & option sheet on my 97 540. Lists cross spoke 29 wheels-anyone able to tell me what they look like-i'm pretty sure thats not what was on it when i got it. An added bonus I wasnt aware of-the car has factory m-sport suspension-no wonder it handles heaps better than my jap slush box.

Bit off topic so I apologise in advance but is your car black-I was in Gissy over the weekend & spotted a very shiny & tidy e34 driving by. Also spotted a schnitzer e39(black) which got my attention as well.A little rough-Know anything about it. Also spotted-that "spider man" e34 that was on TM recently-not pretty!
