    Home coffee machines

The general consensus is that capsule ones are pretty good. But as a barista i must say you cant beat a real freshly ground coffee bean espresso. Machine prices can vary from a hundred dollars to thousands so its really upto you how much you want to spend.
  4. the biggest selling point is that its a manual. not the rarity.

    Tracking Tile

when i sold the mercedes the buyers finance companys lending condition was to have a gps system installed on the car. when the guy came to install it i asked him and he said it was around $500 for the mercedes. i imagine if would be a bit cheaper for japanese cars etc. i think its a good investment if you have a pride and joy or an expensive car. its not a huge amount of money and can be found through their own satellite system.
  6. picked up a new set of wheels.....
  7. i was thinking around $10k would be cheap and $12-13k would be a good price for a nice e39 manual
  8. Amazing machine. Have u seen RAUL WELT modified 911s?
  9. What do u mean? Im pretty sure thats the original badge as it was sold nz new? Is there a diff badge between e36 and e46?
  10. There was a e38 728i or something wreck at mangere pickapart. Might be worth checking out
  11. Why wud u do that... dammit i pmd him an offer to buy without trademe. Agh!!

    M52 headers

isnt the normal thing to do to replace the m52b28 headers with the m50b25 ones?
  13. placebo or not the photos alone will definitely give you some peace of mind! well done
  14. Fittes clear taillights. Before and after pics. I actuallt kind of like amber on the green but since i already had cleae corner indicators decided to go clear back as well
  15. ^ did u give your exwife a thumbs up and a handshake?
  16. ^ was considering it, but as i posted on that thread, depending on the condition it might be a waste to wreck it if its easily fixed. if i had the garage space i would do it..

    Quick rant thread.

people who ask on trademe "whats your reason for selling?" firstly, its none of your business why im selling it secondly, what do you expect to hear? "im selling it because theres a problem with it but im trying to rip you off so ill just say i got it as a gift so no warranty implied" i mean if you ask anyone that, they will say because i dont need it anymore, upgraded, etc etc how does that help in your decision making in making the purchase? i dont get it..
  18. very nice! same wheels as me

    Parts for sale

i would have bought the headliner if you told me last week. would have saved me the hassle of re fabricating mine. o well
  20. Might have to buy this to manual convert mine then sell off the rest of the car.. but depending on condition might be a shape to part out if its restorable.
  21. I was able to find a boston green nosel panel off a pfl hatchback at pick a part for $24. No luck on the guard though yet
  22. there was one e38 730i in cosmos black most things gone and really smashed up, not much left to salvage i think but its there. mangere branch. about 7 or 8 other bmws there e36 compact sedan coupe and a lonely red e46 sedan 318 or something
  23. went to pick-a-part and pulled out a nose panel for $24+$2 entry fee
  24. on road costs: wof and rego. wof should pass so $25. rego is like $70 from beginning of next month so thats like $100 value. 2 year warranty? mechanical warranty? with who? that means you are required to do a trans fluid service within 3 months of purchase ($500-700) then regular servicing at authorized centres which is like $200-500 each time. you cant take it to random indy places or do it yourself and there are strict rules for making sure you are eligible for claim. but what could go wrong with a car thats done 40ks? probaly nothing until its hit 100ks by then your 2 year warranty would have already expired. i would say tell the dealers u dont want the warranty and offer 13k for the car. who knows? (no responsibilty taken if your car breaks down without mech warranty based on what i said above)
  25. thanks for that julian, im trying to slow down a little because i know i can start ordering boxes of parts and its going to end up being a lot more expensive than what i had in mind. ill get round to the suspension parts sooner rather than later
