  1. looks nice except im not a fan of the red leather interior. 30k seems to be the standard go-to asking price, i think its a bit on the high side as it was that price 2 years ago. the kms is just around the 100k mark when a lot of things start to break and need doing so I would get it properly checked out and use that to bring the price down a bit, otherwise looks awesome and always good to get an e46 m3!
  2. bump. two pairs of 225 45 17 tyres added
  3. Price for driver side rear clear taillight for coupe and passengerside wingmirror coupe boston green please

    Quick rant thread.

^ oh my god.. Edit: Last time when my mercedes wouldnt start i tried a few things before taking it into coutts. One of the parts i replaced was the camshaft sensor, brand new part. Fault turned out to be the fuel pump and was covered under mechanical insurance ($2000 job but paid $300 excess) but theh charged me another $200 for... you guessed it, a camshaft sensor. Obviously i wasnt impressed and talked to the manager who refunded me straight away.
  12. central and newmarket is like 5 mins drive...
  13. as others have said, go to team mcmillan dealership in new market and ask them. they will bring out a box and you need to try them out. there are HEAPS to go through.
  14. Rear bumper has now been painted. Boot spoiler has been removed and waiting on the lip spoiler to be painted. What to do about the spoiler holes though? Pics to come..
  15. the wheels came up pretty clean aye! Rgvkiwi: e46 seats DO fit in an e36, needs a bit of work. some people have said that you need to widen the rear bracket holes slightly but some say that just fit the front 2 bolts then tilt the seat in. it will be a bit tight but it does tilt in apparently. I did a lot of research on it and was going to do it in my e36 coupe. only thing i wasnt sure about was the seat warmers and memory functions but im pretty sure everything else should work fine.
  16. ^where were your eagle f1s made? ive had them before, both the older directionals and the newer asymmetrics and have liked both. the only reason i ruled them out was because they were made in thailand or something and it was secondhand. also they were located out of auckland so i didnt want to pay for expensive shipping to get something the seller claimed as 5mm and end up being 3mm etc etc.
  17. i normally put 36psi in all my tyres. feels good so far. will check next week to see if it has dropped and top it up if need be. definitely feels more planted as you say and its a good feeling. im not looking to do drifts or anything crazy like that and knowing that the car isnt going to lose traction with a bit of acceleration its definitely safer to drive!

imo get some proper pictures and chuck it on trademe. it will surely sell despite being in dunners
  19. First impressions: the car feels slightly heavier than before, and when cornering the rear feels more stable and grippy. not sure if its the tyres itself or the sizing difference but i gotta say i love the look and feel of the 245 rears WAY more than having 225.

  22. Not to sound like a negative guy or anything but can a quick drive up and down the road really determine an engine and gearbox condition accurately?
