id be more worried about having to replace the suspension parts and cooling systems on higher milage cars than anything else. i had an old honda inspire (similar to accord) for a few months and that had 300+ kms on it which i bought for like 800 bucks and that thing drove really good.

agree with the wife. a little more respectable is the best way to put it!
-
ive seen those 3 series e46 msport mags sell for as cheap as $300 but also at the same time as most expensive as 1400 for 4 99% new with 4 new tyres. it really just depends. i think the trick is to be patient with it and wait for the right buyer.

Very good news indeed!
-
its worth as much as someone is willing to pay. but i bet you've heard/read that a thousand times. id probably put it somewhere around $5-600 without tyres and about $7-800 with tyres unless tyres are near new then maybe around 1k.

lmao! but yea for $1760.... u got plenty of money left over to spend on fixing it up!
-
hahahaha not making that mistake again. should buy the car before parts, wheels etc. lol
-
yea i know but just wondering how they would find out? unless they were applying for a loan themselves and using it as security then finding out eventually..
-
lmao @ e84 grilles... i very much doubt you will have any luck trying to on sell them haha.. are they taking it back? (imo plastidipped grills look okay, but i would personally choose to paint them gloss or satin black)
-
just wondering though, slightly off topic.. say for example that i had a car that i bought on finance and still had X amount of money left remaning to pay, and i went and sold the car to someone else who didnt check it. got paid X amount of dollars but didnt pay off the loan but instead just kept paying the repayments. A) how would the finance company know? and how does it affect the new owner of the car?

make an offer of 3.5k and take it home for 3750 looks like a good example. im hardly ever a fan of non black interior but this one looks pretty good with the grey exterior combo. wheels are nice and lowering is a plus. definitely check out the motor rebuild receipts. if i remember correctly there is a good bmw mechanic in waikato area so it might be done properly, worth doing a quick google search on it. kms are reasonable, only minus is non msport but what do u expect when you're getting a 4.4L v8 for less than dollar per CC? i would pass on the e34. like what everyone says, 540 or 535. 530 v8 is just weird

damn u got a lot of goodies for sale.. i would be all over the racing dynamics kit if i had an e36!
-
not an expert but i would probably imagine that it would need to be "blushed" or "faded" into the side fenders to make it look even. even if you colour match or get paint made from the colour code it wont look the same as the rest of the car due to age/weather blah blah. must be hundreds of people who do it, not sure about whos good though. someone else might chime in

awesome! whist reading thing i was first thinking, oh no.. another e30 on borbets, especially cuz your vert looked so good with the weaves! but once i scrolled down and saw the photos, was all good. glad you went with a proper tyre setup instead of some stretch nonsense.. and also kudos for getting normal sized spacers lol. could do with a few more mm's out at the rear? edit: your dog is awesome. pretty sure i said that on some other thread but yea.. he looks badass

call up every finance company and ask them if there is a loan under said number plate. :)
-
looks like the number plate has been to hell and back. pretty decent indeed for 3 spot anyway
-
Damn this thing looks cool..
-
Too much initial d?
-
lucky u didnt rip your finger open while opening your beer! sounds like quite a lousy weekend
-
Its a real shame what happens to the majority of these poor e30s.. tough rough life..
-
Looks pretty fun! Is it meant to be a parody for ken block?
-
still think its not as cool as prefacelift grills. haha... im sure the trim piece is like only $20 or so from the stealers
-
please paint your bumper trims! stone chips be gone!
