  1. Crazy price but it does look very nice and tidy. Good photo does wonders in a trademe sale. No idea why people bother to say stuff like "it was worth $100,000 new!!"
  2. +1 on 3m double sided tape. How does one even mess this up? A 10 year old would have done a better job..
  3. This is the place around the corner from saatchi

Ive done plastidip on everything from wheels grills window trim to a whole car with 10 cans. Leaving about an inch gap then peeling off the excess works well for most things. Especially things like the number badges for example. For window trim i would mask with 1inch excess then peel off otherwise u might peel off the plastidip on the trim while removing the masking tape. If u need advice feel free to ask. And yes, it may be cheap and sometimes not as good as paint or replacing the part but its 100% reversible (key merit imo) and did i mention its cheap? Looks alright if you spray well and put on enough layers. Like 5+ coats usually.

    Super tidy!
  11. Mind sharing how much u paid? also how many kms? Used to have a very similar one 1999 528i in silver. Shock absorbers were stuffed around 180kms for me and it wasnt cheap but made a huge difference. Other suspension stuff might be due depending on the kms. It has the nicer facelifted front lights which is good! That red thing in the rear view is the infrared receiver for the master key wmfor central locking not alarm. Good luck and happy motoring
  12. ^ wow your e30 looks great! very nice...

  14. sounds like a great buy for a 330d power and fuel economy all in one. yay!
  15. Lol nick. In other news.. that mclaren on your ig.. drool
  16. Nothing wrong with 720p for a movie ill probably watch once then forget.
  17. Oh lol ur right. I was thinking of full hd (ie. 1080p) But still 6gb for 1 full hd movie sounds pretty massive.. isnt it usually half that?
  18. Lol HD movies on a 22" veon tv (warehouse brand right?) is so overkill. 720p is more than enough! Like 1gig a movie
  19. Yep. Free dvd converters either put a water mark on it or convert like 5 minutes telling u to pay x amount for a full version. Royal pain in the ass..
  20. Ok so ideally u would want a program to convery your dvd movie files to a .mp4 or .mkv format. (Another option is to just download them again in the right format.. sometimes converting them can take forever when downloading takes 20 mins)
  21. Btw just because the tv has a usb port doesnt mean it has the necessary software/ability to play the video files. Sometimes on older tvs the usb slot is just for updating the tv software. In saying that a software upgrade might give you the aforementiones capability. To check this out out a simple clip on the usb in .avi format and see if it will play on the tv. Then it will surely work with the bigger movie files once u figure out how to export from the cd to a .avi format Hope this helps somewhat
