i would just buy a secondhand door and guard, brent or someone could help out. then get it painted. no need to go to a panel beaters who will probably charge you like $4-5k... i had a similar damage on my e36 coupe. door and guard. it was nearly a write off cuz they billed me $4500 or similar. insurance paid out and i got to keep the car which was nice but i swear they just got a secondhand door and then just painted it. would have cost them no more than $1000 MAX!!
  2. Looks great. Blacked out duct areas would be sweet

if it was the other guys fault, why did the police say both at fault just because the OP didnt have car insurance? doesnt make sense.. whether you have car insurance or not shouldnt affect the decision making as to who is at fault right??
  4. Thay looks ridiculous..
  5. can u please bring your dogs... they r so cute
  6. my god this is ridiculous.. for chocolate milk....
  7. Is there any reason you NEED the 3L twin turbo tourting? why not a 325i (newer year i think 2008+ is a detuned 3L inline 6 engine not a 2.5L engine)? or a 530 e60 wagon?
  8. had any luck finding them? i swear i dont see them anywhere. gf keeps nagging me and my patience is running thin. any help would be greatly appreciated!

  13. Looks good. The dish on those 9" wide is insane!! Will it clear the brakes without spacers?

  15. I was sitting in the passenger seat and my knee sent a can of drink flying from tge cupholder. This was the e90 sedan. I hate the positioning of the cupholders with a passion. I do like the steering wheel and general overall feel when driving. But it still feels very small especially compared to my e class mercedes. I also had a e46 330i msport sedan and also an e39. Both of these cars i had no problem with cabin space. E30 and e34 was fine too.. Sounda like fuel consumption aint too bad but if i was behind the wheel of said car i duno how sensible i would be.. haha
  16. staggered fitment would look good... btw did u get the flat centres made up? im sure i saw something on either here or somewhere else about it.. memory escapes me though..
  17. didnt u just sell your 3 series for a 5 series? why do u need to do the opposite? lol btw try: http://wheelspacers.co.nz/
  18. as general rule of thumb for any bmw buying guide nz new, service history, msport.. my friend always complained about the high fuel consumption in his e92 335i msport but then again he did go against my advice to get a 325 or something instead of a 3L twin turbo so its his own fault. he bought a jap import from a dealer and pretty much emptied his engine oil in the garage floor one day. also had the carbon buildup on the intake issue and had his turbo rebuilt or something along those lines. it was all done by the dealers though. i think 2010 or late 2009 onwards is the facelift / LCI which looks better with the led taillights etc. but a prefacelift is great value for money i think. would def go with msport cuz it looks heaps better... but my main problem with e90/91 is the cabin space. its cramped as hell and im a skinny guy.. coming from an e46/e39 its gonna be pretty hard
  19. id be more worried about having to replace the suspension parts and cooling systems on higher milage cars than anything else. i had an old honda inspire (similar to accord) for a few months and that had 300+ kms on it which i bought for like 800 bucks and that thing drove really good.
