Hi all.. i thought id start this topic for myself but also those that might be in a similar situation. Ive owned about 10 bmws since i started driving and they range between these models: e30 e34 e36 e39 e46 The latest being a 2002 facelift e46 sedan 330i msport. I now face a dilemma on what i should get next.. the logical step "up" would be a e90/92 of some sort. But all the early model e90s are not to my liking looks wise and ive driven 323i 325i and 330i in e90s and didnt like it. Also drove a 325i vert and didnt like that either. Im kind of tossing between a tidy 330ci or m3. Otherwise going all out on a 335i e92 coupe. Ive been driving around in a 2005 w211 e350 mb (i know right? Kill me) and whilst the performance is good and rides comfortably i cant help but miss the straight 6 of the m54b30.. Not really into e60 5 series so rule that out. Might go for another e36 if a tidy 328i coupe comes up but i do want to try something newer.. maybe a 130i? Keen to hear any opinions. Cheers Kyu

Use existing caps but print off some stickers at a signwriters and stick them on..

Coupes and sedan facelift mtech 2 front and rear bumpers are nearly identical but the coupe ones have no plastic black trim and instead have a small indented line around the car. Sedan ones have the plastic trim that goes around the whole car. That being said. Ive seen both types on the wrong car numerous times.

Hmm looks like it. Always thought it was black. Maybe cuz i see it at 7am and like 10pm. Ha!

Fair enough! Not interested in the led taillights? How about fluffy dice and a sheepskin seatcover?
-
Still not feeling the taillights sorry. Car looks rad though. 328 badge heaps better than the m one.

I gotta say, the colours a bit candy like for me tbh..
-
I meant black grills not wheels. I think black grills suit any black model bmw regardless of wheel style or colour. Current wheels look fine as is. Would look silly painted black. I just meant that there is a lot of silver showing due to the design of the wheels
-
Lol what is this guy on?
-
Yes it does fit. Usually through a small hole through the rear bumper. U can also get one custom made to go under the bumper as well.
-
Love all the mods especially the brake duct surrounds!
-
Looks okay. Would personally go black. Maybe will look better with diff wheels as the silver wheels are quite in your face
-
Seems okay.being a diesel and manual is a plus but also should be cheaper as its not the most preferred setup. Id personally offer about 7k maybe and see what they say but make sure u check it out thoroughly its most likely been traded in. Who knows what kind of life its had..
-
Seeing as e36 m3 coupes are relatively cheap at about 12-15k despite slightly higher ks (ie. 130,000 give or take).. it would seem a 40k kms example to ask for $20k is reasonable especially if its a convertable.. i personally think its a bit expensive when a e46 m3 vert could probably be had for 23-30k... i suppose its worth it to someone who is looking amd how many boxes it ticks. Such as colour, interior, options, work done and servicing etc.

Pheonix ìs cool because its called pheonix. On a side note what colour car did u end up buying nick? Edit: just saw ur display pic looks like a black m3.. lol details?
-
Those mk wheels would look awesome! Do it!!
-
Wow. Even if its manual. Only being a 1.8L and high ks despite apparently recond engine.. 7k seems like a ridiculous price.....
