OMG you got a WoF with smoked headlights. That totaly means they must be legal. Not! Just because you can get a WoF with them because an inspector doesnt know the manual word for word, does not mean they are legal. Same with retro-fitting HID bulbs into standard housings, some people get away with it but its definitely illegal.

ANY form of tinting on a light, be it a tail-light, brake-light, indicator, or headlight is illegal. No matter what shade it is. It states that VERY clearly in the WoF manual. The only dark lights that are truly legal are aftermarket "tinted" ones that are factory produced in the darker colour. And Like ethrty320 said, i doubt any shop would want to put their name on the line for you.

But if you have jetronic... hehe tune the ignition timing to run on a richer fuel = better power towards the top of the rev range (oh, and probably a sh*t idle...)

I havent really noticed anythig, but the "98" ive been using is BP ultimate. Will have to give that synergy 8000 stuff a go.. A few extra cents is nothing when you only fill it twice a year haha.

They take a lock from several sattelites, so im sure it does. It isnt simple 3-way triangulation, i believe they prefer to have 9? or some other number to lock onto haha.

And also note that this can go off under hard cornering/braking.... As any of us running an OBC found out at the last Intermarque Sprints

Nope, EBC is a voluntary sponsor. If you run their pads you have to run their decals, but you do not have to run their pads if you choose not to

Just personally i think the spots would look better either directly beside the headlights, or directly beneath them. They are rather large, so look a bit odd where they are...

They go well with Nos. I helped out at Wintec at an MX5 dyno day and there were some nice examples... both turbos and supercharged (the supercharged was the one with Nos!!). They go bloody well too, and are light enough to get slippery on polished concrete quite easily
