Spotted, an E30 'vert going through the new Postgate Drive roundabout in Whitby as I headed home in the racecar, probably around 7-7.30ish... I think I've seen it round Porirua a few times before, looks real nice
-
Have to take pics of the side with the mirror then
-
Sweet, looks mint as bro, will have to see it in person on Wednesday.... might even have to find us a lit, unlocked carpark for a few photos if we feel that way inclined
-
Yup, i've heard good things about dynamat... works well to stop your boot rattling from having the subs too loud ive heard, from the vibration reducing qualitys. Can totally understand where your coming from re: the noise once sound deadening is removed, my E30 is quite loud inside and it can be difficult to hold a conversation at motorway speeds, even with the stock exhaust! Wouldnt dare try playing music in it (if i even could haha, no stereo )

Last day of the Auction, this car sells TONIGHT!! Only just over $2500 at the moment, so most definitely still a bargain
-
If only you were closer!!! Might have to arrange a roadtrip
-
Not that I'm impatient or anything.... but is this done yet? Running?
-
Do you know if Anthonys cars done yet? Haha 12 days was ages ago! Would be mint to see all the Welly E30s out
-
OMG awesomeness of E30 + awesomeness of E30 = Major awesoomeness!!! I would love to do this... one day... after recruit course maybe haha, it can tow the race-car
-
This looks exciting! Looking forward to seeing it at the welly meet next wednesday... you are coming right? Makes me feel stink, havent done anything to try make my car look a little nicer in ages! Apart from a nifty little sign on the roof
-
Dunno if it helps, but my PFL hits R with at least 15L to go most the time. Normally hits the 20L mark after about 200-250kms, when really it shouldnt hit that till at least 350kms... so maybe its just a PFL E30 thing? Or maybe something in mine is stuffed too haha
-
Haha yup, pics to come later. I thought it suited the car real nice, might have to steal one for the next intermarques And yeah, Nathans car sounds tits! And looks sweet as too!
-
I test-drove a car with one of these a couple of weeks ago, hated every second of it. It made reaching the indicators/wipers very awkward, and the angle was terrible.
-
Just a quick hint, you may want to resize your pic to something a bit smaller, otherwise it will get taken down by a moderator. Other than that, decent looking car and certainly has potential!

HOWTO: Fix bimmersport in-topic posts appearing as links
huff3r replied to Carl's topic in Forum Help and Support
Mybe edit the link that takes you to his thread and add that bit to the end of the link? Could potentially stop this from driving everyone nuts over and over again -

That is fair enough Glenn, but the way you originally posted the comments could quite easily be portrayed as being snarky, or rude. He was indeed asking for opinion on how the car looks, not snide remarks on wether or not it happens to be going or not. I don't know you, but have the utmost respect for your work, and the help you provide to those on the forums. It is indeed invaluable, however the way your comments towards anyone not quite in line with your philosophies always come across as rude and arrogant i find quite annoying. Perhaps it is not intentional, but either way I think it detracts from the forum, and threads like these, where instantly the poster feels attacked. What you say your first post should have said would've been perfect, up front and honest without so much hidden cheek and rudeness, apart from the last two lines. Ask yourself, is that really necessary? His thread is indeed about how the car LOOKS, hence it being in the SHOWROOM forum, so perhaps leave him and his engine woes be for a bit (I honestly can't believe I'm standing up for him either, but someone has to). As for how the car looks, I would have to agree. It does look in fairly average condition, but I can see it has potential. With the right wheels, a set of red tails, and a general tidy up of the panels and paintwork it could easily become a very hot E30. Cheers, Paul

Maybe PM Oli? (e30li) He has a pretty good setup he was toying with the idea of selling...
-
Dont play with fire....
-
Ok so Oli(e30li) is leading so far haha, and i hear he really doesnt want a subaru so someone who's keen on a new car should outbid him It'd make a good basis for a bit of fun on the track if you think boats are fun, or would look mean sacked on some chromies Or chuck a 13b in there and go nuts (Sorry, just using advice from Oli here lmao.)
-
Very untidy... and apparently imported at the tender age of 12 with only 43kms on the clock Suure....
-
Personally I'm against the tinted tails. Very against. Don't work for me at all, I like the contrast of BRIGHT RED on black with standard tails, I think it works well, suits the car, and most importantly helps you be seen! (I'm a motorcylist so have a mild obsession with being seen )
