They aren't mine. They are made by an F1 engineer and they are his. $2000 is cheap IMO for a completely tuned system. So no other parts, that I know of.

Go to Leon at Marshall tires and ask to speak with Peter. He knows heaps about suspension set up.

And the headers.

Specifications: Ø 2½" Mild steel construction, including 2 x 'Borla' Stainless Steel Mufflers,-'TIG' welded, HPC-coated. Fits to original mounting brackets. The System has been designed (& tested) for a 'SCHRICK' 304° Camshaft in conjunction with twin 45mm Sidedraft-Carburettors or Throttle-Bodies & is optimised for maximum mid-range power & torque,- hence the rather 'smallish' pipe Ø. Asking Price: $2000.00 (this includes $500.00 worth of mufflers & $ 380.00 for the HPC coating!)

I voted for the PS2 as it has a better range of games. However the Nintendo 64 is a better console. I must buy myself an XBox to go with the rest of the collection.

I'm with sic on this. A bit of both. I like having performance, but not at all costs. Well, not in my daily driver anyway. Nothing wrong with balls out performance in a track car!
-
I'll post them in the For Sale section with a description.

Looks like a 7 with mags and a badge to me. A genuine Alpina should have it's own build plate inside. Along with all the other bits pointed out. Spoilers front and rear as well as the pin striping.

Nice car! :thumb: If that needs a clean, don't look at mine. Good to see another real sized BMW on the site.

Thanks AJ, I'll call you when I've skimmed the money out of the account without the Financial controller noticing! It'll be a couple of weeks before I'm back in Auckland. :bounce:

I'd get him to make you a sexy set of headers.

No, it needs to be those models of Holden or Falcon as they have "standing". I know I can get an XR6 cheaper, but it is a better car and above my station. My boss is hesitant to let me have a car allowance, as I'll buy a Lotus Elise with it. It'll cost me money, but I'll have a smile you can see from Europe. The GTi is too expensive unfortunately, it is also the equivalent of an M, so will be shot down by the beanies. A diesel is not a performance car over here yet. I do like the Honda Accord 3.0, but they are a bit old man looking (haven't got there yet). Great cars, don't get me wrong. I test drove one to Waihi and back. Pisses all over a Ford or Holden in every facet. I like Honda's, have owned a few. Thanks for the feedback. I'll keep fighting for the Tdi. Yes, it's extremely hard when a new car is not as good as the one sitting in my garage. The new Ford motors are making 8kW more at the flywheel, than the 540 makes at the wheels. Oh, the only BMW will be one of the Gutless 1 series. I spoke with Brett Riley long and hard about it, and he couldn't get a car with the same performance for the money.

No idea, but I reckon your safe with 107kW.

The company has a preference for Falcons & Commodores. However, I have a large car that handles better than a new Falcon or Holden, so it pisses me off every time I drive my current Falcon. One of the product managers has a 3.2CDX Vectra. I'd prefer that (as Ford haven't got the RS Focus here) if I have to drive one of these. But, I've driven the Golf and it is brilliant. 6 speed DSG, 320Nm torque, sports seats, GTI suspension and a better stereo than the Ford or Holden. It also has a 5 star safety rating. I have to drive it up and down the country, so I'f like something I can get around corners at 100kph. I work for a German company, surely a VW is not too much of a stretch.

Company car about $1000 per month fully maintained, so about $46k mark. 4 doors and something sensible.

Good call Udit. Nice looking E34 you had. Those weren't "twin overhead Fluffy dice" were they? :rambo:
-
I'll look forward to seeing that in the flesh. Looks good. Bet it goes like a raped ape. I'm with Gus, had it on the dyno?

Happy Birthday Timo. Hope the beast is going well.

I'd go and check the Le Mans 24 hour race results and see how the front wheel drive cars go. Can't remember the last time a Rotary won it either. 787B maybe?
-
The short answer is Yes. I forgot to mention, they did have a box there that looked like those ones you showed. The guy there reckoned a complete exhaust system on a car like ours would gain another 15-20kW.

I've got footage of a 9 second BMW! Don't bag them, nothing wrong with the Wankel motor (aside from the noise they make). Anyone can make a fast car (the americans prove that), but to make it handle... now that's something else.

The South African cars have funny accents! Good luck with the acquisition. I used to rail my cars down to CHC. I'm sure you could do the same to DUN.
