Haha Cam when you see this guy you will understand, backwards hat brigadde lol. ill try take some pics of it, there is no way it has a M motor in it.
-
pretty confident it doesnt, he has like 5 cars he is doing up at once and lives in tawa..so cant see possibility of being able to put a 3.5 stroker in his e36 lol
-
If its the car im thinking of, the guy used to live over the road from me, pretty sure its a 325/328 with the ACS body kit on it, laptop mounted on the dash, adjustiable wing, silver ACS vinyl and a multitude of other ricer crap, the kit does look mean tho imo
-
is that the burgandy one with the silver ACS signwriting on the side?

Anyone got a supplier for a rubber replacement, OEM item or should I just go to the stealer? Anyone know a rough price bracket so I can go break my piggy bank lol Cheers, Nathan

save the speed for the track and you will have nothing to worry about it, think when you speed how much that would cost in fines...and think of where you could put that money on your car..that made me sort my s**t out

Small Update: - First fire up in about two months today - Spent most of the day wiring up the gauges till i ran out of wire - Ruined my europlate, strategy to fix it is in place tho - Can't undo the handbrake from the hub to install the lines in the car, someone help! i made a post in the maintenance forum - Got some new ideas re: how I want the car to look, make it look even more racer lol - Fixing my oil pressure sender next week - Kill switch works im so glad I cut the right wire - Got to trim a bit more of my new exhaust out to make it fit then take it to pit stop for them to weld up - Still gota buy a new exhaust gasket then can get cracking putting the exhaust and manifold back on - Still have a sea of diff oil on my garage floor - Managed to semi push on one lollipop bush in nearly all the way till the vice cried enuf, may have to take it to a engineer/ anyone wana help me for a few beers who's got a press? #14/Paul?? I know ur a pro at it - New Years is getting ever closer, potentially looking like a early jan put together and complete, wellington group we need to organise a cruise to celebrate the end to my pain - Looking at potentially getting flamed with this statement but may look into supercharging the m40 next year one guy on e30tech knocked it up pretty easy so may leave that as a project to muck around with once its back on the road. Anyway, till next time Peace Out

wow that sucks. im confused again then haha

I can only think maybe he should try them on a e39 so can see if they fit for someone else to buy them off him now that they dont fit his e36?? Just my random thought

In swapping from drums to disc rear end on my project, I think one or both sides of the new disc rear end have the handbrake still locked on a tad, as the cable is not long enough to come through into the cabin fully and be done up to bolt against the actual handbrake in the car. In my haynes manual it tells me to get a screw driver and use it to rotate the star wheel inside the hub to let the handbrake off (another reason this is hard is because I cant get the existing rotors off, its being a real pain in the ass and holding me up Anyone have any experience with this? or do I just keep perservering? and hope it fixes

Personally, I appreciate your desire to create something truely unique, I just think from a cost benefit perspective being the economist i am, lol coilovers/uprated suspension would be a better route to take in my opinion. Best of luck with the project, it is true, nice to see someone step away from the stereotype modifications Cheers
