Another update, was an excuse to try out my new camera I got for xmas Rear shocks and springs are installed, and front sway bar connected to my new control arms, also my little guages are all wired up to light up, now just have to sort out the senders. Hopefully have this done soon enough so I can stop taking up everyones bandwidth Thanks guys, Nathan

  5. All these I got and will get as 'xmas presents before and after xmas' for my car, front konis, rear bilsteins, b+g springs, control arms, tie rods and rack ends, nolathanes all round and possibly half of my new tyres
  6. haha i tried all options, in the end my mate borrowed a rack end remover tool that goes on the end of a socket wrench, worked like a charm, thanks tho man
  7. In my opinion that is the BS post of the year, love your work hahaha. Will get you some photos tmoro or the next day, its a piece of cake

    JiB's POS

Jonathan I love ur car, totally undercover q ship badassness but also a mix of shout at me ricer styles with the fluro cage. I love it! I want....shouldve bought it when you were selling it.....hahahaha Best of luck getting it on the track
  10. Merry Christmas to everyone on BS. Thanks to all those for the help, advice and parts for my continuing project Regards, Nathan
  11. Radar detectors can be, in my opinion justified as a safety option as well, alot of the time people will speed 100% of the time, if cops are detected obviously will change their driving habits atleast a x% of time, reducing accident possiblities. Also as most experienced drivers will tell you, speed while obviously still dangerous, can also help avoid accidents for tree hugger drivers who don't know road rules or decide to drive 20kph under the limit.
  12. posted petition link on multiple locations including facebook and other forums. everyone else do the same let the little men speak up
  13. I say go catch some real criminals. It's ridiculous. Teens murdering people like that guy up north and they spend time and money on car enthusiasts who spend a little less on something that makes their car more aethestically pleasing. So annoying. Its not like everyone is installing nitrous or something that would risk the lives of road users....
  14. As hi on the windscreen as possible. better angle for detection range, and less obvious to see for the pigs if this law goes through. B*****ds
  15. wow this really pisses me off. i guess just make sure everyone carries their legit 'old style' plates also. And I totally agree, getting stung 3 times is far cheaper than buying a legit euro plate

    318i E30 Couple

So far away...no lies would nearly buy it nearly if you were closer, can never have too many e30s
  17. Repco or Supercheap should have some man, just ask for double sided foam tape
  18. Did mine easy as , just removed old ones, then used (I will admit, large record vice) lightly sanded the inside of the lollipop then greased it up heaps inside and on the new bush, then put a piece of steel on one side of the vice, then the bush and lollipop in middle, then two small sockets on the opposing sides of the lollipop then winded them in, took about 20 min. Hope that helps Edit: Just read post again, take them off the car, it makes it so much easier
  19. Its cost Max put e39 in the text, as opposed to e30 in the title. simple misunderstanding
  20. Andodized color valve cap covers.....
  21. that jonvy dude on trade me has some i think, i got mine from there and it works fine
  22. epic. having no money doesnt mean you go risk your own life and others to look 'cool' This forum may not be as 'badass' as others with every brother from another mother running 'cuttiez' and neons but im sure the etticqiute (sp) etc that the members hold is why this is one of the most successful car forums run in New Zealand, with by far some of the most knowledgable people i have ever met (Jochen, Glenn etc). So chill, man, this one is just alot different in my experience from the other crappy ones provided. And yes I do know how much it costs to run a race car, my dad owns one and I have mates on here and elswhere that run them so I do, the costs are high, but there is a reason why cos people who run these cars respect the saftey of the public and enjoy pushing the limits in a controlled environment.
