    Headliners

^ Lol. Honestly, tyre black works great, used on a few cars now with good results.

    Headliners

A easy $15 fix to make a beige e30 headliner black is to use the tyre black in a tin, paint on a couple light coats then a couple heavy and it looks good if your not to picky
  3. Sorry for the sh*t cellphone picture. It is a m20 engine mount, made of really really hard urethane, maybe Delrin? I had only one on my car, wanted to make a pair if anyone knew where these were from or if anyone has any? I am sure someone had a set like this on their car that I knew. Otherwise looks like I will be making a order to Ireland Engineering. Cheers, Nathan

    M325i vs SR20DET.

Thanks Henry, I will be in touch Ashkan
  5. ^ I shaved mine, if I did it again I would use spacers, a lot less hassle and pissing in the wind

    Idle Help

If you have enough thread to work with some decent vice grips work well to remove the stud, that's what worked for me when I did it. The stud diameter is quite narrow, so if using a easy out a careful hand is needed.

    M325i vs SR20DET.

Do you have a template/still have the hookups for the polycarbonate sunroof panel you had made? We may need to discuss this in further detail...imma gona do this soon.

    Idle Help

Pick a part. Take some penetrate spray, a couple nuts (to do the double nut trick) and a couple ten mm spanners. done. Take a whole bunch off the car while your at it.
  11. ^ Just so you know, if you want to do this you will need 5 - 10mm spacers on the front wheels to clear the calipers.
  12. ^ Woops that wouldn't work then. Possibly not worth the hassle then. Good condition manual conversions come up every once in a while. You would probably have to look for the lot, very rarely do people split up a manual conversion and its associated parts.
  13. How many people did the paper? What ever happened to bell curve scaling?

    HB Mike

HB Mike, have a good one
  15. ^ Possibly could do free shipping to Mainfreight depot in Auckland
  16. I have a Getrag 260 at home collecting dust if it is any use to you. Just the bare gearbox, needs new bearings and rebuild etc. Only want what it is worth to me, $150 PM me if you wish.
  17. Honestly, IMO the day I have 8,500 to spend on a drivetrain alone for a car is the day I upgrade to a better car. That M3 stuff is worth far more in a M3, so leave it there.
  18. I wouldn't bother. It is just a E30..
  19. Spotted Dutchy (bmrmad) and his truck doing me another massive favour freighting stuff for free to Auckland. The guy is such an asset to the forum and all his help is much appreciated and it doesn't go unnoticed. Thanks mate!

    Andrews E30 Sedan

I am going to go out on a limb here and say it will look better on the current wheels than it would with RS's on it...
  21. ^ I had the same thing happen to me when picking up a set of wheels a while back, was very stoked, considering how expensive they are to buy. Car looks good, all the hassle is worth it in the end.
  22. Yip. On the underside of the wing mirror is a small hole with a wheel with teeth inside. Get a narrow flat head screwdriver and try and turn the wheel clockwise so the mirror unclips out of the holder. Be careful refiting the mirror and then turning the wheel back so it clips in, make sure it is locked in properly before driving with it mounted. Ask me how I know. Hope that helps.
  23. Sorted thanks to Mark...top c*nt
  24. Hey guys, I need to borrow (or buy) a 3/8th Torque Wrench for a weekend (TBC) while I rebuild my RS's. I only need something that can do between 10-35nm. Can deposit some cash as a bond until it is returned to it's owner, or does anyone know where you can buy them cheap? It's the sort of thing I will only really use once, especially in 3/8th's size. Any help is appreciated. Cheers, Nathan
