Here is mine: - Mazda Demio Learn't to drive in it and was quickly taught the old adage of: "you can't see the outside of the car while you a driving it". Thrashed the sh*t out of it though - Ford Escort Panel Van Gifted to me by my grandfather, he owned it for about 20 years, was going to do a resto on it but found a 4 inch hole in the firewall from rust so sold that and the E30 addiction began. - E30 316i Owned this as standard rocking on hubcaps with a boom-boom stereo for about 2.5 years, got bored and stripped to and swapped in race series spec suspension and brakes, with the intention of m50'ing it. Wrote it off driving into the back of someone after being blinded by sunstrike whilst having it on the road for 3 weeks after being off the road for nearly a year with hundreds of man hours put into it heartbreaking. Project thread here: http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....showtopic=17640 Aftermath here: http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....sile+is+no+more - E30 325i The car that made me hate E30's, anything that could go wrong with this, has gone wrong. Has been extensively repaired and modified to the point where everything on the car has been modded, adjusted or replaced apart from the fuel tank and the inner workings of the engine still love it all the same is in the process of being road legal as we speak, built for B-road storming + track days for the moment, it will become a full blown caged race car with a M30/M54/S54/insert sweet transplant engine here, in it within the next 5 years. - Next? I would like a E34 540i or similar once I graduate to tow the serious race car to be

^ I did it here: http://maps.google.co.nz/maps?f=q&sour....85714285714285 http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....8&hl=Nathan In the old race car, a week or two before I wrote it off, how ironic

I found driving with an open diff far more dangerous than a LSD. E30's make it worse because they are so light in the rear. Had one scary moment 360'ing at the entry to the motorway in the rain, always far more careful now.

Mothers Naturally Black, failing that tyre shine or smooth peanut butter.

Do you want some outrageous wheels for your E30?
Forrest replied to zenetti's topic in Wheels & Tyres
It's like they tried to cram too many fan boy trends into one wheel -
Do a search anyway, has been discussed to death on here.

Best color for a E46 M3. Love it.

$400 - $600 for average condition ones, with or without center caps. Anywhere from $600 - $1000 for mint ones. For reference I paid $600 for uncurbed but needed repainting and with center caps, sold caps for $120 + $50 for the used semi slicks = $430 for a 'tidy set'. Hope that helps, they are getting reasonably hard to find now.

Brand new black 550i GT abortion on black M6-esque 22's on Featherston St. A little lower and I hasten to say I would've liked it. Much better in person.
-
^ Wow can you get an uglier wheel for a E38, looks like something a transformer would roll on. What a tool.

Time to make a sump guard is it Mark?

No way dude! One of my fav cars on here, even in it's incomplete form. Best of luck getting rid of the stuff, and have fun overseas

Boots. http://cgi.ebay.com/BMW-E30-E36-E34-E46-Z3...=item35a946afd3 Are dirt cheap for the awesome quality they are. Brought some couple weeks ago, got here in 7 days from the UK. Tis nais. Good work Max, sounds like it is coming together. Edit: I see you have a shift boot already, he said to me he would do handbrake/shift separate IIRC. Otherwise find a black e32/e34 one.

I know, don't tempt me

If you wanted a M30 donor, wouldn't you rather wait for a manual one? Since its the gearbox that is the expensive part of a M30 conversion? A few 535i manuals float around for next to nothing every once in a while
-
^ Woops I stand corrected.
-
Needs more forward motion, less FWD offset wheels, less lame tint spray and less even lamer insulating tape covering cracks/scratches in the kit IMO

^ Ya mk2 Jetta

Finally sold, cheers everyone for their interest. Not going on a E30 if anyone cares. Cheers
