That guy sounds like hes marketing it like a car saleman but lacks good english skills.. Like .. hes making all these claims, yet not so sure he can back it up with fact. The cars been imported, whose to say its never seen an accident, service history is one thing, but you can just as easily take out panelbeater receipts cant you. It doesnt even look like leather by hte looks of it.

Anyone know if the rear seats out of an E36 coupe will fit into a E30 coupe with little or no modification. Do they mount hte same way ? If anyones willing to grab some basic dimesions that would be awesome. Am I better to try fit E30 brackets onto E36 coupe front seats or mod the current rails.

generally hard to find an E30 running stock diff specs. I believe they came standard on the Facelift 318i according to my book. Check ratios before purchasing.

so your comparing the new price of a M5 with the 2nd hand price of a WRX .. nice one. New WRX's arent $30,000.

my parents garage - full of E30 bits right now. Prior to htis I owned both sides of the garage too .. but thats a different story.

All race cars need a glovebox, where else are you to keep your race gloves. My car wont be happening till 2nd race meet earliest. I am unable to get another race car till this ones cleared from my garage.

Good condition aside from 2 cracks. 1 visable one, not visable unless looking for it. Much better than the average E30 dashboard which is usually riddled with cracks. Crack 1 can be seen easily, crack 2 is inside the tray on the closest separation to the camera, at the very end of it, cannot see it unless dash is off or you lean over hte dash while installed, hard to find. Pics to follow - $100 pickup will be up on trademe wednesday next week. E30 Glove box - Mint condition - with working latch - $65 pickup preferably - may negotiate delivery. no key but can have one cut for extra. Pickup from Papakura, South Auckland. Money will be put towards E30 race car.

my car was deadlocked when the battery went dead, and once I was able to unlock the drivers door the passenger door wouldnt, it seems when this happens you can come across solinoid failure somewhere along the line, and the onyl way I managed to get the door unlocked was to remove the door card and disabled the solinoid.

Nightrider obviously wasnt on duty that night. I'll keep an eye out for ya as I'm sure anyone would, will take down legit number plate details if I spot it. The car looks rather unique and distinguishable, with its white grills and those particular chromes. Put an auction up on trademe - $100 to the person with any information leading to the capture of the offenders in this car and post up all the pictures. Make sure its an email - non bid. If enough people see it, I'm sure someone will know where to find it. But then again you dont want the theifs seeing it and changing their mags etc.

I was looking at purchasing a trademe one not long ago, a guy at my fathers work who knows his stuff and has his own workshop told me that they arent very good quality, are rather heavy in comparison to the rest of market and somewhat hard to store as they take up alot of space. I dont have much knowledge on the matter, but that is just hearsay. This guy does seem to know his shiz though. Cheers Andy

shotgun, I'd make you an offer somewhere above or between $200 - $500 possibly more depending on the market so long as you left what panels you wanted and I'll buy some for you elsewhere with your approval. Would need to confirm a few things before finalised but yeah soudns great. Am told you cant stick a cage into a 4 door but yeah will have to nut that out and get back to yas. whats the wof / reg situation ? any idea of rust ? manual / auto will be turning it into a race car for the E30 series and you can watch it on tv and say .. hey i owned that once. Put it to a worthy cause instead of selling it to a wrecker for peanuts, when all they're going to do is part it out and sell it as parts for way more than they bought it for. Cheers Andy

true story, but I think there we some deciding factors in that... ie. driver etc. swap cars and you would have pwned him. I'm sure theres more potential in an M3 than that guy was showing.
