e 28 lighter than e 34 the 535 would go very well

if i was in the market for a new x5 i would look at the x6.I dont NEED the space the x5 has(i dont need the space my 535 has) So from a purely practical sense the x6 would be fine.I dont think they are ugly.i would get one just cos there arent many,unlike the x5.

sounds very convenient but dont like the idea of charging the battery when the battery is inside the car...only took a few minutes to take it out anyway.

fast charging ? I have a smart charger,it went straight over to 8 amps and almost immediately went back to 6...after about an hour had dropped back to 5.5.I left then.The recomended time for charge was 12-20 hrs!Battery was as flat as a pancake only 11.5 volts.I have the battery out of the car.Thanks for the reply.

1990 535 battery under rear seat.Can i charge battery from terminal under bonnet or connect terminals to battery with all wiring still connected or is it best to do what i always have done and disconnect everything.Battery is completely dead,left parking lights on all day yesterday.

everything else being equal you will get better economy from a chipped car.But most people USE the extra power available so no improvement is seen

i would also be very keen to ascertain that the radiator hasnt transferred it s fluid to the trans....NICE looking car mate.

I like the shape but the interiors are (and i feel the same about the e 24s) are not of the same class as the exterior styling.
