  1. think of it this way......can you afford not to?
  2. very long legged,a 540 six speed is very relaxed at 100 in sixth, yet a squeeze of the throttle see 160 ks .a 3.15 would prolly be the best of both worlds.

  4. how about the other option/brakes sticking leading to the overheating.?
  5. me too i didnt think that was an option.I would always opt for sports seats.
  6. seems like a good price for the gearbox and you have a relatively good exchange rate too.well done.As for the rear ratio i think you are limited to big case ,correct? So i would hazrad a guess that is m5 or 740/750/840/850 diffs?
  7. the whole lamp assembly can rotate afaik.
  8. well if you get the chance avatar is worth seeing in 3d!Hopw the boy has a good time and enjoys his new jacket!
  9. ditto although i beleive in my case it was just many many heating and cooling cycles between disimilar materials(iron block, alloy head).I beleive the car has always had fresh coolant, certainly in the time i have had it,but it went anyway, similar symptoms to yours, using a bit of water, hard hoses after cooling, misfire when starting.I tried releasing the pressure via the rad cap as soon as car has cooled a bit.No misfire when starting...that was the clincher for me
  10. often with an old car what you see is what you get
  11. fwiw i would have looked at it....cant tho as am on crutches :(backwards cap and peach fuzz not)
  12. rhd and maybe lhd too allow for the healamps to be rotated approx 45 degree to allow you to be able to use your car on the other side(read owners manual).Perhaps this has been done or somehow you have ended up with a lhd headlamp at one time.I often go th vtnz drive in drive out.never had an issue with them

  16. if the ammount of money owing is still substantial i can see the owners greivance. However you have shown considerable good will and imho the sale should be completed esp if you have tried to ge tin touch with him.If the sale folds i would expect to get all monies back
  17. they should do they might ask you for proof of ownership

  19. they should be fine brent i run 17x8.5 et 13 or 15 on the 535,at mtech height never a rub
  20. for the record i have had no issues with bridgestones or falkens although i am starting to get a shimmy on my wearing out falken fronts.from experience a alignment and balance will fix it.If it doesnt i will swap the newer rears on to the front.Thats how sensitive the e34 is.All my bushes etc are relatively new
  21. i doubt there is anything special about them.I bet ray could do some(or brent)
