E34 Yes Bilsteins, but do I need new springs?
kiwi535 replied to MrDevine's topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
a 20 to 30 drop from std wil be fine.I have mtech set up and the car only is harsh if the road is uneven across the road if you know what i mean.Sharp bumps will be a bit harsh, but like Simon the result is a 5 that shrinks around you when hit the curvy bits. -
only if there is an abundance of testosterone and plenty of E 30 present.Even a few 5 and 7 calms them down a bit

the comments above mirror exactly the comments made by a guy i talked to who at the time had a 635 but had owned an 850...he said you were always aware you were in a wide heavy car.The V12 has massive torque tho,and itself has a undeserved reputation, you just gota know what you are doing.the body electrics are also very complex.

watching the wild fluctualtions of the guzzle o meter, the rapid advance of speedo and rev counter, whilst hearing the muffled beat of that torquey yet revvy V8 is far more appealing than the crap we get served up as tv

did they cut it from your key or did you have (or need) the actual key number

i was at the i nterislander ferry terminal at from about 5 20 onwards. At one point you could hear the singing quite clearly!
-
i would tend to agree. You must spend a lot of time just stopped whilst idling
-
the e34 is very sensitive to front suspension iregularities.make sure the wheels are very well balanced as a first step.Put the two best wheels on the front
