if you really want a v8 20 to 25 puts you well into e 39 540 territiory
-
not sure i think it was for sale privately for a while but yes i think its at a dealer now...prolly cant be described as a 'nice" car but they were a pretty serious 4 door in their day and relatively rare too.Wether that translates to better resale????
-
you might get an e34 M5 for that..if the red one is is still in chch they would prolly take 25 by now
-
twice as much as an e34 M5?Same as an e39 m5???Who knows, one thing for sure, its a small market, because i would think only someone who knows what it is will be prepared to pay,and conversely someone who knows what it is will also know what they could be in for...Thast UK car is a minter tho isnt it!
-
so our cars would have been 145 boris???.
-
hotwire or jochen
-
if its condition is as good as it looks its a nice car.very nice for a 1991 car albeit relatively low miles
-
my 1990 535 was north of 125,000,yours would have been too.
-
i love the sports seats in my e34.They feel hard at first but after driving from wellington to tauraunga you are still comfortable.!I will always tru to get sports seats now(or maybe comfort)
-

http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....st&id=15749 look carefully at/near the wheels
-
check the wiring at the boot hinge for broken/shorted wires( although I am sure you know that e34 failing)
-
already sitting on ramps/stands???
-
you are right, but commodores ,falcons esp have very bright and glary (sp?) "fog lights",then there are the 4wd with mid grill bar mounted yellow fog (read driving lights),just about rear vision mirror height it seems
-
proper FOG lights WONT blind you, they are a dipped spread beam, unlike the so called fog lights on Falcons and commodes.....actually driving lights i think
-
yes i have recently fitted new philips Plus 30 definetly a whiter light and a bit brigghter/ better visibilty too.The new bulbs have a slight blue tinge but the light looks white..no hint of blue/purple when looking at the headlights
-
i wouldnt know what a stock one would look like Boris :/ Are you saying alpina were modest or ?Not?I would think the higher compression with a chip would actually make the m30 quite a bit more fuel efficient(if you didnt use the right foot more)
-
they are different offset..dont know if they can(or should) be swapped
-
dont know...as rxsumo says, the e34 prolly wont have any rust, and being a heavier car woudnt it just use the e30 as its crumple zone...?
-
Did Alpina/Hertge etc have a high compression version of the M30 in the B10 etc?If so how did they do it?
-
HID is HID,xenon is a variation of a "normal" halogen bulb. The halogen bulbs are sold in various shades of blue to try to emulate tha hid look/colour.True HID systems have very very high light output, hence why incorrect fittings can cause problems for other road users
-
dont know specifics of mitsi evo.Sometimes the water pump is stuffef and the coolant can leak out there...
-
not any more...M5 are now about low to mid 40s.... you guys are learning about teh 5 side....
-
once you have tourqued the bolts arent they used...and they "stretch"??
-
