  1. have a bit of a search too, there has been some discussion on this.Nice way to pick up a car.to drive home....go home via tekapo i assume???
  2. You havent been ripped off, welcome to the joys of older car ownership....The column hasnt got any parts to cause vauge steering, the box has.It can sometimes be adjusted, loose steering can be caused by play in all the linkages between steering box and the wheels. Your wof inspection sheet will have the fault written on it This is why sometimes going to the experts is worth a few extra dollars
  3. not the hourly chime is it????About 15 seconds before the hour??
  4. car automatically diverts from route to miss traffic jams!
  5. http://www.bimmernav.com/bmw_e60_e61_e62_e...h_retrofit.html here is some stuff.....

  7. They have a record of every single tranaction they would use the time of the transaction they think is "wrong" to look at the cameras. The transaction would record the pump number. We all know that each pump tower can have four dispeners on it.If you stil have the receipt you can prove what you bought.Your bank statement will obviuosly show x dollars at BP.what are they saying that you were at pump 4 and actually claimed pump 3????
  8. not as cool though Daniel! http://www.bimmernav.com/index.html,list some parts and info for the E60,almost certainly cheaper than here

  10. the only reason i can think not to lower it is if it has edc or similar...ie different suspension settings(sport comfort etc),or some form of self levelling suspension system.
  11. babel fish..it will still be half untransloated though
  12. Jeff grays finally came back to me to say that the mats for the E34 are NLA.These are the ones with the little retainers so they dont move around. My drivers one has a hole in it so i want new ones...where???I spose i could go to repco and modify some generic ones

    war on strat1

I really think we should not be using someone elses auction for a war on strat1.Whatever strat 1 behaviour on his own auctions should not be a reason to sabotage someone elses auction. We have absolutely no evidence to suggest he will not go through with the purchase of the "m5"He certainly seems to have the means to purchase it. carry out "attcks" on starts own auctions...my 2c

    e36 Wheels

i have a set of four 17x8 20mm offset 5x120 74.1 mm hub dia (ideal for a e39!)two of the tyres would be marginal for a warrant, and am missing one hubcentric 74-72.5 ring. Not ideal but they may work for you(e36 = 5 stud ?). I used to deal with taranaki street tyres/tunley wheel alignment, top of taranaki street, they seemed to have wheels to suit every BMW...the other option would be Page European,Home St.
  17. agreed even on a proper auction why put in a bid two weeks before it ends?
