it may only be 20 or so HP but it will be quite a lot of torque,and in a lighter car with a chip and cam and lighter flywheel it would be quite fun i think...the m30 is quite a big lump tho

my 1990 535 has a BMW labellled sony head unit -xr 7300 if my memory is correct...plus a sony stacker in the boot

Yeah HB Simon...the ol e34,s love a thrashing.......I (sometimes) go over the rimutaka s using second gear on some corners....goes better for weeks after that italian tune up

i have heard of this "micro door movement" on E 39s...I beleive there are different door rubber part numbers in response to this...

yes but dish(and diameter) is the very important difference between the two versions of style 10.I will find another pic of an e34 on 10s...you guys obviously need educating no?

ollie check out the thread..."guess whos back"...the m5 has a removeable tow bar but you will have to convince our freind to take some pics of it....

ollie can piss him off by asking him to take some pics of the tow bar stowage arrangements....

might be the "cluster test mode",Hold in the check control buttton or something as you turn key on.Check the owners manual

other factors too i suspect.The larger engine cars maybe also owned by older drivers...Round town i drive like a granny,always get dragged off at the lights.I can drive from wellington to lower hutt and never exceed 2500 3000 rpm.Nothing to prove....my old M30 gets marginally better economy on 95-96 than the recomended 91,prolly only offsets the price diff...

i know simon....its funny about those style 10s isnt it...There are two styles i think the above 17 in ones with a bit of dish,look 100 times better than the ones you are referring too.I loved the look of the car i drove with htese on,delphin gray 535 is,dark grey interior, and the wheels looked brand new.Perhaps colour my judgement,otherwise just the low spoke count look.I wemt off them when i went in to shelleys and was quoted 750 each plus gst(and that was discounted)

Dont take any notice of me,E34 were the pinnacle of all things BMW IMHO

Its LHD of course and obviuos in the pics (nce you are looking)but...i love how the cleaning stuff is still visible in half the pics,look at the engine pics or the last pic of the seat.
