the silver 320 thread got me thniking and I've never done a poll before, so here we go.

rear sway bar will help minimise body roll. Strut bar helps make crisper cornering etc as it reduces body flew - better grip too. Shocks are $1200 new for anything remotely decent. and you can go up from there.
-
Stiffer shocks is the best way and it won't affect ride height.

Yeah - I've been house sitting for 2 weeks and the car has been at home. Going home tonight so I'll jack it up. Hate those bubbles - don't need soap tho = just water. Tinted my mates VL the other day - car looks like arse but there were a few beers in it, so schmeh. Lots of water is definately the win. Tint's look phat if you manage to not look at the car and its got an rb30 so that's another saving grace...

I take the bit about good cars back - i thought 1. it was newer, 2. it was a wagon.
-
No, mine is similar yet different {like Canadin Club}. Less sqaureish I think but it is hard to tell from photos.
-
In which case i'll be interested.

and the truth comes out bro. nice one.

Good cars those.... for Hondas.

u'r hopeful. We have trouble getting people to meets let alone peeps taking time off work to meet at the airport...

Aparently the tag is riveted on (mine isn't) Where yours says 1210423 Andy mine says 1210421 I also have a 13 18 11, and a GGG 40 where yours has something similar.
-
And a 323 will cost you upwards of $600 or 700 or more going by what I have seen on trademe - there are always bargains around of course so someone will prob tell you I'm barking up the wrong tree but realistically joe schmoe will pay that much and its about market. go the 5 spd - way better in my opinion. diff ration would depend of the ratio of the top gear in the box and how you want it to perform.

Hope things are going a bit betta on you're b'day. Chin up girl! hugz G

I wonder what their reaction would be if you took you gemini back to the dealership with f**ked susp. and said "but the cars in the commercial were doing jumps!". Loved the fountain one - wonder how they did that considering the lack of CG as we know it in those days...

I know it is hard to see but it is like a large is lip on a pre f/l with gills/slits in it. There is a white pre f/l up here bouncing about on cutties with one. He lives somewhere up my road, but I havn't caught up with him to ask about the kit. It looks quite good i think. Just wondering since I have now seen two of them, what it is????

Start bid is 10k - if you don't want the hassle of doing the conversion yourself, but have lusted after a rota'd bimmer - buy this, slap on some paint and proceed to annoy anyone within earshot. P H A T Fully certed etc. linkizzle

I've been shown it/recomended it by 3 diff friends. Had a flip through - agreed it looks good, but not cheap as you say. Lots of really good technical info not in the bentley.
-
how much is he looking for? (jks)
-
That's a rhetorical question... Of course we want pics!

I have the same prob, but mine is not as bad as yours - happens like once a month or less. The tapping trick always works for me so it isn't coincidence. Sorry I can't help - nice trick with the gauges BTW - didn't know you could do that!

1) 320's and 325's did share gearboxes - depends on the exact build date on whether the same size. 2) Yes pre f/l and f/l centre bearings have different sized mounts - I just swapped mine over when I did the g/b conv. but it then shat itself - a whole new one including housing is less than $100 anyway. (I can't remember exactly but I was shocked how cheap it was). 3) Due to the phasing of the driveshaft universals, provided the two sections are from the same shaft there are only 2 possible configurations the two halves can join. If one creates vibration simply pull it out and swap it by 180 degrees. 4) Inspect the guibo/flexible coupling while you are there as these are also $100 and if its shagged you may as well do it whilst the shaft is out. Also the nuts on the shaft flanges are one-use. I've reused mine 2 or 3 times, but if you are one of these people that does everything by the book replace them too. And the auto shaft is still for sale...

bimmerfan - fourth year in a row.

it should if his car is manual. Auto ones are shorter. I have an auto one if its what you're after.

You're thinking of Duncans car - I'm 99.99% sure these are different vehicles. I believe that Duncan's car was found in any case after it had already been written off by his insurance or some such (I can't remember). Anyway - no need to call in the cops
