  1. Asking price on TM for 2008/2009 7 series is between 80 and 130k. I am not sure why 34 are required. Also, I lol at the "gas-guzzling" claims. 8L/100km - that's awesome for a big car!
  2. Yes, it can be difficult to weld the alloy sumps. Especially if the crack is old. however, I successfully had an m20 sump welded and it still doesn't leak to this day. (4-5 years later).
  3. Cam bolt - I put a long bar on the front of the crank so that it touches the ground and can't turn. Then undoing the cam bolt with the cambelt still on is easy. You can use an old cambelt like a filter wrench instead if you like. Replacing the camshaft seal is easy, just be careful not to scratch/score the alloy seal housing as it will leak if you do. Press the new seal in carefully.

    Fishing.

My fishing skills are abysmal. I supply/drive the boat and someone else does the fishing. Works for me.
  5. Sorry to hear that Shantelle! I'm sure one of the dealer/guys in the industry on here can give you a valuation. Good luck.
  6. I'm getting a tad sick of these "I have better taste in mods than some trader on trademe" threads. So far no-one who has ever started one of these threads has all that hot a ride. If you see something really out there, fine, otherwise no-one really cares. Not meaning to bag on the OP, but I think from time to time we need to be a bit less critical of others. Closed.
  7. Nice work Mark. We were looking at these a couple of years back, but couldn't find a good one in the right colour with a removable hardtop. Got Keiti the MR2 instead, which she loves, and I can get away with driving without looking too quarter-life-crisis. Tidy looking MX5 there though mate.
  8. Dude, you've got some good skills, but there's quite a bit of over-exposure in those recent shots (and/or white balance is off). I know you've got a new flash and wanted to try it out, but you'd do well to still think about the final product and what you're trying to achieve. I hope you take my comments as constructive - definitely better than what I could do. I'm just pointing out what I think is obvious.
  9. Bilsteins and H&R are a match made in heaven. That said I did have all of my Billies revalved (when they were brand new). Made the stock m325i Bilsteins feel like rubber bands. (and no, that is not my only point of reference). Oh, and the srevice and support I've received from the H&R and Bilstein suppliers has been absolutely topnotch. Top product knowledge, customer service, value, and support. And it wasn't BNT or Autolign, Credit goes to Keith Hartley "SUSPENSION" and Chris Alexander (Suspension Tech).

    Job for Jack =)

QFT. Actually the funniest thing you've ever said, Jack.

    POLISHED

sh*t Jase, I'm gutted. Said it before, but will say it again - only e36 on BS that I REALLY liked.
  12. Te Ti Beach, Paihia. Every day until the end of summer.
  13. Looking good. Except the third shot where no part of the shot is in focus. I like the clever lighting setup behind the chain link to pattern the shadow on the car. Cool.
  14. HB G-unit. Hope you've got the wife and kids waiting on you hand and foot....
  15. HB Keith. H&R Bilstein combo still cranking hard. Cheers.
  16. Sounds like he knows a lot of d*ck in Oz too, people... Sorry, couldn't resist. My favourite is a local car - older Ford Falcon station wagon WDLOAD with a rather heay-set woman driver. Awesome....
  17. Most businesses are the same. My dad's electrical and whiteware service company is always flat out because people want the dishwasher that's been on the blink for 4 months fixed before they go away for holiday. How mad is that? My game is the same. I work in a Engineering, Surveying, and Planning consultancy, and everyone needs their consent applications and plans into Council before the end of the year so they can get their consent first thing next year and still have some good weather to do the build/earthworks, or whatever. It's not called the silly season for nothing.

    Umm......

That's what I was thinking, Palazzo. Maybe he won lotto and bought the real thing - auction says you get a ride in a genuine 355 if you win the auction.
  19. Yeah dude - on my way to uni from our flat before he moved in with you lot.
  20. Nice website - there's a video on there on how to tell the difference between a hooker and a cop - handy.
  21. $99 Noel Leeming, no contract. About 18 months ago (last remaining stock type thing with CDMA on it's way out). Phillips Savy! My mate had a blue one.
  22. Simon - Nokia timeline. Interesting. I had the first internal aerial nokia (the 3210), the first small form factor nokia (8000 series), first blue led nokia (8200 series again) and first bluetooth nokia (6310). Old phones = cool.
  23. I had a friend at school with the Ericsson you posted. First kid I knew with a phone. Now 2yo's have them. The old man even gave one to his dog as a marketing gimmick. So it's true when they say every man and his dog...
