They weren't made in RHD (1 or 2 specials being the possible exceptions)

I forgot to watch this thread a couple of months back. Ashkan, you are a gangsta m***erf**ker!

Hey Brian, did your wife write the ad? Just kidding mate, but it's full of typos. Get yourself some better pics, write the ad properly, and you'll add 20% to the value.

Yep, the nazis are good like that. Similar area my g/f got pinged in the mail for double parking picking up someone outside a building in the rain. Was there only 20sec. You won't get off if you write in. They're just pricks.

What do you use for for GPS navigation on your iPhone?
bravo replied to simke's topic in General Discussion
Don't have an iphone but have used an iphone with Tom Tom installed. As good as a dedicated Tom Tom unit. -
Wide stance and flares would mean a 17 would look fine. 16 or 17 is where it's at. I'm thinking here about the BBS rims etc like on that e30 m3 with the s65 v10. (which are possibly 18's come to think of it). I don't know how much clearance you have inside, but if you're going to track day it, consider a staggered 16x8 16x9 setup, but if its just for road use, then maybe non-staggered for simplifying tyres, in which case you won't want 9's on the front, so 16x8 or 17x8 would be perfect.

PROPOSED LAND TRANSPORT RULE: VEHICLE LIGHTING AMENDMENT [2011] This message is to advise that the yellow draft of Land Transport Rule: Vehicle Lighting Amendment [2011] (Rule 32005/5) has been released for public comment. This proposed amendment Rule will amend Land Transport Rule: Vehicle Lighting 2004 (the Vehicle Lighting Rule), which sets out the standards and safety requirements for lighting that is fitted to a vehicle, to allow the vehicle to be operated safely under all driving conditions. The proposed amendment Rule will ensure that New Zealand’s requirements continue to reflect the needs of vehicle operators and are in line with current overseas standards and practice. The proposed amendment Rule will also accommodate the use of changing lighting technology, while ensuring that vehicles continue to be operated safely. You are welcome to call the NZ Transport Agency Contact Centre on freephone 0800 699 000 to obtain a copy of the draft Rule. It will also be available, with supporting information, on the NZ Transport Agency website at www.nzta.govt.nz/consultation/vehicle-lighting-amendment-2011/. We look forward to receiving your comments and, to help you, details on making a submission are included in the overview to the draft Rule. It would be appreciated if you could send your submission by email or using the on-line submission form provided, but postal submissions are also acceptable. Your interest and involvement in the Rule-making process is appreciated. Please note the closing date for submissions, which is 5 November 2010.

Would be a great office chair. When you go to lean back and grab something from the copier, you would just scoot over there.

No, that's my old man talking to the owner of the m6 parked next to me.

The same guy who owns this (and that's my e30 in the background):

You tube link Pretty badass even though the video is lame. Noisy little bugger though:

Saw this at work last week languishing in a paddock...

Might be what 5th gear needs to make it more watchable. There's room for another good car-tainment show. I would watch both if they were both good and on at different times. Whilst I think that BC was a spoil-sport for ruining the fun, if he's a good presenter I wouldn't boycott the show due to his actions.

Bastard. Here I was thinking, "Don't mind if I lose as long as it's not Dan", and f**k me dead, you won. You owe me a beer! That'll teach me to be a good c**t. I tend to be fairly lucky with competitions, so maybe I passed it on to you this time. Well done man.

Insane. Drive 40kt boats every week, but never driven a boat above 50kts. 60-70kts in a 100+ footer must be unreal.

And finally the new battery arrived yesterday. So success. In all, three trips to the store including the original trip to return the ph, and one long ph call. They still wouldn't admit they were wrong though. just sick of me I think.

It's slowly becoming a BMW - the virus is taking hold...

Get the Billies re-valved and bumpstops shortened and you'll end up with a nicer ride and better handling. Not too expensive at all. (few hundred). My suspension went like this: 1. Cheap no-name springs and old Bilsteins = too low, crap ride, crap handling. 2. H&R's like yours and old Bilsteins = perfect height, much nicer ride, and good handling. 3. Urethane bushes plus H&R's plus custom re-valved re-built rear billies, and brand new front billies custom re-valved and all shocks bumpstops shortened = best handling e30 I've driven that hasn't spent thousands on suspension.

I'm still going to have to say i think it's better to have to wait for a right-turning car than have it way over on the left, half blocking the lane anyway, indicating right. You're going to slow down to a crawl to go past anyway if you've got half a brain as you've got no idea if they've seen you and aren't about to pull out in front. At least in the middle of the road you know they're not about to turn into you. It's like the idiots who don't wait while someone is parallel parking. The parker doesn't want to move as they're worried about collecting the guy going past as their nose swings out, and so they just sit there, meanwhile the traffic is now weaving out over the centreline to go past. If the traffic just stopped for all of about 10 seconds they guy could park and flow would be back to normal. There's nothing wrong with waiting a few seconds for someone to manoeuvre safely rather than pushing past in a self-important fashion. But for everyone that agrees with my way of doing things there's probably 1 that disagrees, 1 that doesn't care, and 5 that don't know what we're talking bout.

Mad MS Paint skills bro!

I'm following your logic here, and it's what the road code states, but on a busy road it can cause more carnage. There's now a car on the left trying to make its way across two lanes of heavy traffic, not just one. Also, if there is enough room on the left for them to pull over, there's probably enough room for you to pass them on the left (carefully).
