Finally a nice dash module on a modern BMW. Top marks!
-
I think you can change the instrument lights, but the other dash lights and the LCD check display cannot be changed (unless they make replacement ones, but I suspect this would eb very expensive). Why change them? The orange lights are badass and part of BMW ownership!

I subscribe to the email newsletter mainly because over the past 3 years I've won on-average, 1 prize a year from the monthly competitions. Prizes I've won have ranged from a rather under-whelming Trademe t-shirt to a rather excellent DVD on Gareth Morgans motorcycle tour across Europe (on BMW motorcycles no less). The rest of the newsletter is usually only worth a very casual read, but this month I had to chuckle. The author has owned BMW's in the past, most recently an e36 m3 which he sold to buy an RX8 ????? Either way, he obviously still has some brand loyalty left:

Sweet, bout time you put some pics up James.

Hate it when dumbasses on the side of the road try to get you to perform like a trained seal. I always dissapoint by taking off as gently as I can. The other day some young boy of all of about 9 or 10 years old pulled the "do a skid" gesture at me FFS!

I looked, but couldn't see them. Either you lot are pulling our legs or I need an eye test. Funnily enough I'm booked in for one on thursday.
-
They are similar to mine (RB reps.) If I know Sam they'll be 5-stud fitment. If the difference between selling or keeping the 325iS is $1200 surely you have other options??
-
I used to ride. Every so often I look through trademe and think about buying another one, but sensibility when it comes to $$ always puts paid to that. I still get a chance to go for a thrash on some trails now and again, but would love another road bike. I won't bother to post up a list of bikes I've owned as I've never owned anything all that special.

ROL - worst place to crash something like that - outside a pub! I'd love to know what the kid with the red logo on his shirt is saying lol.

Small Claims Court for the amount of $8XXX??? Or whatever the max that court can handle (might only be $7500 from memory). Might be worth a try.

HB Shelley. Keep doing what you do. I enjoy having you around he forums.
-
Someone posted it in the yellow s4 thread, but its still epic. I love it.

What's the problem? It was a classified, and he sold the car. There are no success fees for vehicles. Once it's sold, you withdraw it, thats how it works. Not sure why Admin withdrew it - maybe he edited the auction to say it sold and they just withdrew it as part of keeping the site clean.

FORUM RULES To Joe Black: It is poor forum ettiquette to dig up old threads, or fail to exercise a certain amount of care with spelling and grammar.

Awesome, but what is up with modern cars and butt-ugly dash areas?
-
Hey David, welcome. Not sure how many Americans we have on board, but you're more than welcome. Just be prepared for the kiwi sense of humour giving you a good natured ribbing now and again. Don't sweat it! Pics of the 325 are compulsory. How long have you been down under?
-
You'll have to take a picture of the exhaust for us - you're asking a bit of an impossible question otherwise. Probably an aftermarket exhaust of some sort, but no way to really tell without pics.
-
Take a look here. It's in Chch though. Owned by BS member crazyarab. Might still be forsale?
-
The sites av, but the forum is awesome. The best quotes aren't repeatable here and are fairly NWS. But funny? what!

I was thinking somehwere in between the above two. You can pick up 330i's without some of the toys that one has for that money, so I'd say its roughly on par price wise with them. If it was f/l and lower kms, then you may be up the $20k+ mark.
-
Between those two - the 325. You are obviously from the Canterbruy area, so I'd say wait for the perfect one - best cars in nz are in canterbury - no rust, and for some reason really mint examples.
