Yeah, I wondered why everyone was jumping up and down about a m20 swap??? Will still be fairly awesome though. Goal is 200+rwhp. Will be 180rwhp after the swap, but there will be kinks to iron out after I've driven it for awhile, and I hope to pull it up over 200 eventually. Build diary for my motor swap from m20b25 to m20b25 + Toyota SC14 supercharger pushing about 0.4bar on chipped motronic ecu. Should be a barrel of laughs when finished. Day 1, Beer 1: Boat is finally out of the shed. Spent all of yesterday tiding it up and prepping for today. So here she is ready for dismantling: One bolt down, time for a beer... Day 1, Beer 2: So a few more bolts... Exterior panels removed. Day 1, Beer 3: Cooling system and a few other bits out. Day 1, Beer 4: Exhaust and driveshaft disconnected. Day 1, Beer 6, 7 & 8: Loom out, computer swapped over, powersteering drained, ancillaries removed, everything ready for motor removal tomorrow except for air con. So that's it for today. Current beer count: 8 I'm taking bets on how many beers till completion. There may be a prize for whoever is closest. Tomorrow morning a friend is removing the refrigerant from the aircon (so as not to make more holes in the ozone) and then tomorrow night I'll pull the old donk out. Stay tuned. Yes, but 4" would need to be 270mmlong and my box is only 250mm deep and I don't want to f**k around with finding bends. 2x 2" would work. Have to go to Jaycar next week when I'm in Auckland.

Someone explain the difference between the models with the rectangular lights and the ones with circular mk-I cortina style lights? I prefer the latter. I'm going to have to save up now. I'd actually rather one of these than a 540i lol. I've always liked them but also always dismissed them for god knows what reason.

I will be pulling the aircon out of my car next week to fit my S/C in. You can have the old pipes if you want. EDIT: your valance will be white not black. I wasn't hinking.

I think it'll be better. I like alot of the changes with the exception of the rear wing change. I don't think that the front wing angle change twice a lap and the KERS boost once a lap will work how they plan. I think it'll just be absorbed throughout the laps to improve lap times, not to increase passing opportunities. Time will tell.

Actually there are a couple of dodgies. Look at the line of Navy guys with dark coats and white hats standing in the aisle on the right side of the photo. COunt about 14 back along the line and on the left are three people sitting with a white blanket across their knees. Behind the right most of those three is dodgy number 1 in a big blue jacket, and two rows behind him is dodgy number 2 with a red bandana. See pic:
