  1. You are an idiot. That looks horrid with those wheels.
  2. Awesome Rob. Looked like a keeper and now sounds like it was!
  3. Guess its the same sort of sales ploy as, 'one careful lady owner'... Seems so many people don't know what to say about their car to sell it. A car should speak for it's self otherwise it's probably not worth buying.
  4. I missed that. How hilarious. Such sad people own these cars once they hit bottom market value.
  5. I like them. They are quirky. Plus 5 cylinders sound unique.
  6. Nice classic BMW there. What is the paint condition like?
  7. What did you get stung for those?
  8. Too bad I just got rid of fire fox because its so demanding on the system.
  9. Welcome. Sounds like a good plan. Good luck with it.
  10. Fantastic mate. Always pleasing to see someone taking the time to make an already decent car even better. What are you doing for brakes? Are you going as far as fitting the M3 rear sub frame point reinforcement plates and front sub frame underside 'X' Cross bar?
  11. Agreed. That is the direction I took.
  12. So as things progress with my car project I will need a place to store it while working on it's upgrades come August for at least 6 months, unfortunately I have used up all the room at a yard where the donor engine half cut is being kept so it rules that place out. Does anyone have any suggestions of good lock ups or storage garages around the auckland area? I looked at some lock ups in the Penrose area last year when contemplating on storing another car but didn't pursue it. Only problem with going for one of those is that they are expensive, theres limited room and I doubt you can really work on them there where welding is involved because of the fire hazard. Though... I have two other possibilities, I could pester my mechanic mate a bit more about shoving the car in small corner of his relatively large mechanics garage (eventually the car will go there to have the motor dropped in) and another friend has a lock up garage type thing, accept its full of two 4x4's and rather a lot of junk, which he is too lazy to clean up.. but the possibility is there if I cut a good deal. Anyhow, any further suggestions?
  13. Looks rather tidy. Would sound quite good with a nice exhaust I am sure. Gotta love those rover 3.5 V8s..
  14. Looks fantastic, I'd buy it if I didn't really have a project car. Maybe one for Mr 65Mustang...
  15. That would be good of you. While your at it got any pictures of this setup? I'm going to run a 1992 Celsior V8, so the most common type, 1st generation with the strong internals and 10.0 CR. Fantastic, a VVTI 1UZ..... that supercharged with a twin screw must make for a great combination, I can see how you're making that sort of power now. Pity about the weaker stock internals in the VVTI engines what parts did you change, just the conrods.. or work the lot?
  16. Nice, what kind of supercharger? Sounds like an M112 with that kind of power... or a Twin screw? I'm putting together an M90 setup for my E36 on a 1UZ, but looking at around 200-220rwkw at 6 pounds. Sadly M90s have their limits.
  17. You mean the end tanks? Just buy a entire new assembly, they probably look okay, but will have hair line cracks with age.
