  1. As I said in the PM's Im getting about this. Im currently trying to sort out a few sensor related gremlins in my car before changing the exhaust system and introducing another varible. I should have something sorted in the next 4 weeks going well. Sensors aren't the cheapest to replace in the e46
  2. I don't have them, but the only thing to be aware of is one of the LEDs is actually a screw. have a look at photos on e46fanatics with people running them and youll see what I mean. I'm also 95% sure it doesn't trigger the LCM lightout monitoring... however the LCM can be re-programmed easy enough. I can help with that if youre in the AKL area. I have found ways of also tricking the park light vs headlight side marker thing as well. That will be what hes talking about.
  3. Yup... for me. * ZF 6 speed gearbox (stopped myself actually buying this) for the e46 .. It was brand new and the guys wanted only $2200 for it regret it now. * 2nd set of BBS LM's @ 8.5 front and 9.5 rear 18inch 5x114.3 PDC for the e30 (already have 18inch 120x5 LMs on it already) (bought these with the intent of converting them to 120x5) still deciding weather too convert them to this or put them on Brendons GSR and convert it to 5 stud and wide body it. Other sh*t along the way where I thought it would be cool but ended up wasting few hundred $$$ making my mind up. What gets me is I see something for an awesome price and just have to get it.
  4. http://www.jlevistreetwerks.com You can always jump on e46fanatics to talk to nick to place your order too. 3 business day turn around usually shipped. His profile http://forum.e46fanatics.com/member.php?u=3776

    M325i vs SR20DET.

Im not using a stock e30 trailing arm setup. Uprated mcoupe trailing arm setup so im not too phased about this. The springs are around the correct way. I would sure feel it with 700pound springs in the front Anyways back on topic ... your really going to enjoy this setup especially the camber tops. Sorry, but dont listen to people bleeting on how too much this and too much that. Dialing in correct camber / castor with the way you drive your vehicle is awesome. The GC kit really does turn your e30 into a go cart! from someone whos been running it for 2 years with nothing but awesome results. enjoy

    M325i vs SR20DET.

Nah I need to shorten the shocks still found this after the fact .. but no biggie Car really is still in workshop mode ... about to start the next phase on it. mockup and engine build.
  8. Pull the rear seat out and have a look ... really easy to remove ... grab the front lip of the seat and pull up in a jerking motion. Then just pull forwards .. takes 2 seconds.
  9. Stay away from CCFL versions. The florecent ballast boxes with-in about 3 years die and in extreme cases catch fire. It just happened to me. Lucky mine didn't catch fire .. but melted the plastic CCFL angeleye inverter box totally out of shape. I've just this weekend upgraded to 81 LED rings which run straight from the parklight circuit with minimal current drawn. The LED versions dont need a inverter box to run so a ton less to go wrong over time. I removed my CCFL tubes from my p46 headlights and replaced them with the 81 LEDs with a bit of minor modification. If your lights dont have Angel eye 'grooves' you dont have dismantel them however they will sit off your headlights a tad. Umnitza / Jlevistreetwerks etc have all started shifting to LED based lights. MYCARR and RaceDash are the companies that produce pretty much all angel worth purchasing. Ebay ones are junk.
  10. Im investigating new parts in Singapore... Due to the price of vehicles there parts are a lot cheaper. Shipping is a lot cheaper and if you get it on the right courier most of the time you can have next day delivery. Thats actually better than what BMW NZ can provide to its dealers! and without the 80-100% mark up. Sick of paying 500-600+ per sensor when other manufactures using the same Bosch technology are at least half the price.

    M325i vs SR20DET.

yeah same kit Pic here. http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....851&hl=5lug With the shocks vs that spring rating. For road use you should be able to easily go full soft then dail up 1/3rd to 1/2 with out it being too hard. Full hardness in koni yellows can be a bit mental. I have mine on full soft for road but im running 525 front and 700 pound rears.

Youll love every minute of that setup .. what pound eibach you running. Might be able to help you with dailing in the konis.

    BBS RS Wheels

Sweet. There is a nice kit on there for an e24 I'm running them with the 330mm front on the e30 with 18 bbs LMs ... fit fine with plenty of room.

    BBS RS Wheels

In NZ for some reason Cardwells doesn't have the slim line SL-6. They have the fatter ones. BBK's in general need 17inch + wheels. Have a look at LeeVongs site for an idea of what works. http://www.massivebrakes.com/ As others have said I dont think RS's will handle BBK. The newer wheels do however.
  15. Gets driven plenty in the cold .. just AKL doesnt get that cold even at night. Everytime Im doing the winter holiday thing Im usually in the SI and hire cars.
  16. haha mine did this for the first time ever the other day as well... I was like .. FFS now what .. then was pleasantly surprised.
  17. Like I said .. dont f**k it up and make it look 'safe' ... If you have to pull the guard to get those bad boys under then so be it. It will look tough as sh*t.
  18. some more volk love And that concludes my dump on this thread.
