  1. Just remember the lower the engine literage on a bigger car generally speaking the more gas youll realistically use. The 540's are actually pretty good on gas. best compromise would be a 530i
  2. I actually love the E66. Sat in a 760iL and fell in love. Would so have one as a daily.
  3. Its weird cause this ad is over 6 months old. They should take Topgear off the air over there. Maybe even stop bathurst? as that shows cars going sideways too. nannystate=fail
  4. off topic thread f**k up alert
  5. Its cool, but some one in Europe has pretty much the same design car working and it even appered on topgear. It got slammed because of its lack of handling and build qaulity however. At the time of watching it I thought it was the hulme car.

    f**k yeah... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4RQ4wX8CGbM
  7. awesome stuff .... how was that engine change for the audi mid race !
  8. nice... box of beers I feel to settle in after working on the e30. which Hi-tek btw managed to get the heater radiator exchange valve sorted.
  9. Chris's HPF m3 turbo wide body RDSport (Racing Dynamics) m3 doing 500+ hp in N/A form. and a Murked out e38 7 with stright pipes http://www.vimeo.com/5425165 enjoy
  10. There are: Toyota Camery Mitsi Galants Toyota Privea (speed camera) Northshore has a HiandDry sonata ... gold with blacked out windows. All manor of holdens .. Alot with cable tied on hub caps rolling around. Down country Subaru awd legacy Couple of oldie commies driving around too that they keep for suprise value. Pursuit rims are mainly for the D cars these days. You cant trust anything these days.
  11. All you need to do is change out the clusters LEDs. There are about 10 in total. The only problem is the pixel display is still orange as the back light is different. Its a fiddley job .. but not too difficult.
  12. from those last links I posted they complained that they haven't entirely got rid of torque steer. By they say its a lot more drivible than before. Agreed with the weight issue however the thoughts of modiying the RS for performace is soon dashed by the fact its still front wheel drive. Such a shame. I nice article on the reasons the designers had here http://drivingspirit.com/focus-rs-fwd-not-4wd/ Which shows plainly designers are more and more thinking of how to design a car to 'up to' limits instead of allowing for aftermarket to really play with it and turn it into a 500+ hp monster. The problem here is this is how car manufatures get real street cred and in turn sell more vehicles of that model for the 'cool' value. Including base line models in the range. I agree totally, Homologation standards really are the best way forward for consumers. That in mind .. dam the hippies too! But I understand it is aimed at the UK / european market. Their insurance brackets are far harsher than everywhere else. nanny state wins
  13. Will give this a crack tonight and report back thanks
  14. Hmmmm get what you mean apex .. just its still a FWD car. Im not saying its a bad car. My point is I just dont know why ford go AWD and build something that could really wipe the subaru and mitsi floor. It doesnt need to be a driving CPU either. I think everyones ready for good ole mechanical AWD with 60/40 drive split again. some more on it
  15. You know, If ford went head to head with mitsi and subaru and actually produced it as a Awd vehicle. They would have so much more cred and probably sell a lot more around the world. If might not be the smarts of finacial discussions.. but it never did Subaru any harm. I love the look of them .. just, you can only stick so through much the front wheels before torque steer turns it into more hassle than its worth.
  16. Very very keen for 19s as a spare set of wheels. They would sell BIG in the US so production number shouldn't be a problem.
  17. Can you get 19 inch versions in 8.5 and 9.5 ?
  18. Remember when Thriller came out. Was quite the event on TV as music videos where quite rear back in the early 80s.
  19. hybrid

    M325i vs SR20DET.

Glad another person has seen the light and your enjoying it. Great handling is far more satisfying on the road that lots of power. Once you get out of the skids phase of your system having loads of grip and cornering ability is far more fun.
  20. LED signs in back windscreen for the win.
  21. Cool keen to hear how you get on too. If the yanks are into it they wont be crap.
  22. As I said in the PM's Im getting about this. Im currently trying to sort out a few sensor related gremlins in my car before changing the exhaust system and introducing another varible. I should have something sorted in the next 4 weeks going well. Sensors aren't the cheapest to replace in the e46
