I know you have already discounted the pc option. I run a computer in standby mode with a DVB-S (freeview) card and some great open source software called Media Portal. whole thing including Sony Bravia cost me 3k. Control the whole thing from a remote computer is in a nice case that sits in the cabinet below.

Well Top End performance are the best around for hi-end BMW performace engine parts. feel safe with them if you do decide to use em.

hmmm interesting .. I dont see how this is going to stand as the government scraped hidden speed cameras for the reason it wasn't actually saving lives. This is quite boarder line with the laws that speed cameras need to be visible within certain distance. However, placed in true residential areas I actually agree with. but you know they are not going to be Theyll be stuck on main roads for maximum tax collection.

Hmmm not really an issue these days, They still honor warrenty, they have it now, they are always cheaper because of much larger stock volumes, these are only bolts so dont count but the US always have newer stock / options / models where as NZ/aussie is usually trying to hock off old models. Just saying buying local its very rare to get anything good from it. I bring in a lot of stuff for my band and its the same thing there ... NZ just cant compete. Sorry dont mean to sound like a twat just a lot of people discount overseas buying for archaic reasons.

One Man's Crusade Against The Personalised Plates Monopoly

My cousin was one of the listners top writers. He still has a lot of contacts at APN (the herald etc etc) If this goes somewhere which it looks liek it is.. I could ask him to ask someone to do a story on it. Another thing is .. DO involve the commerce commission. Telecom were in this situation and look what happened there. Their company was segmented and regulated. -
you will 99% find they wont have m20 in stock and will just end up going through what I explained above... this happened for my brakes for the e30 .. 7 week wait

One Man's Crusade Against The Personalised Plates Monopoly

I got pulled up for my reflective sticker on my front bumper the other day. Told the cop im not paying $400 for something I already 'own'. He laughed and actually let me off ... good bugger he was. -
Just email them and expect a day or two delay. They (like all ppl that are in business in the states) have excellent service and knowledge around BMWs. takl to them to make sure you know exactly what your ordering. once you know whats up, you pay they send.. it hits customs you may or may not get stung for GST (use FedEx for the best chance at that) then you play the donkey f**k game of NZ couriers (which can take longer than the international shipping)
-
Importing them yourself = way cheaper and youll get it within 1 week instead of NZ's "Oh I can only afford to bring 1 container over every 3 months" syndrome. Im all for supporting local industry .. but the racing / performance scene for BMWs and euro's in general is 10 years behind the rest of the world. + the TE guys know what their talking about.

I have something called "preventative parking" basically it intails me finding the widest / away from everyone else park I can find including at least the first 'click' in the doors hinge distance for me and / or the person parking next to me. I also analyse the surroundings including: pubs entrances / retards / kids on skate boards (because kids these days just cant skate the way we use too ) / old people / people movers / commercail vehicles. first rule I go for is not to park in a touch park situation. you know what .. in the nearly 3 years ive had my new paint job .. not once have I had a problem. Including small dents.

I showed the missus that silver CSL 3.0 .. she said the same thing, cept she said she could see us both cruising in it round the country .. I said when I have completed my other projects I would look at getting a classic like that
