Alot of what Jochen talks about is also a little bit on the Old school side of computing. Some of you guys who where into computers / BBS's using modems on ISA slots will remeber the pain in finding "clear" address space and IRQ when running on the higher com port numbers. Most of the 'web 1.0' modems that came out were plug and play and this sort of knowledge wasn't needed (while problem with address space and iterupts still existed) What jochen is saying is when dumping data over RS323 to the Ibus/kbus, there is NIL error correction in the transfer protocol. Cars pick up alot of static from moving around. Especially in dry air. Most laptops dont actually have earth on the plugs however the first thing this static is going to do when you plug into the DME is go down the shield of your RS323 cable to you laptop and want to find the shortest earth point. Things to think about none the same.

I have p46 DDE LED based rings. they are a white light not the 3600k colour orange standard DDE emit. Never had a problem with them. They are visible during the day.

Looking for the e46. I have been looking to upgrade the airbox / TB setup / headers to something more than just a silly cone filter for sometime. Might just end up getting something made. question is around the flow dynamics, the m54b30 is famous for its mid range torque and I would like to keep that. BTW: The e30 s50b32 isnt going to be a turbo any more. Im planning for it to be an Open series car so will keep it a high comp N/A, Will look into a CF airbox when the car is all setup properly.

hehe yeah, Just reading on looks like they have fabbed it up and labeled it with a number off the CSL style intake. Would love to see some videos of this. And also very interesting about the throttle body being e60 v8 3.0. I know Dinan use an 540i one to give it more air. Wonder if that airbox is Mid range power centric (m54 characteristics) over say the more peaky topendness of the s50.

Yeah it is possible, infact I think hi-tek might still have some (4lug 325i ones) like this from a coil over setup he purchased and didn't need the struts as he has an m3.

The thing is people think 6x9 speakers are a good thing. Image wise you couldnt get a worse design. Buying a good qaulity 6 1/2 inch speaker with a descent flat response range and a decent magnet or driver and tweeter(s) is the key. I'm the first to cry F/O when the P.C patrol start telling people what to do... but they should really be putting warnings in the boxes or on the boxes of 6x9's. "so you failed at square peg into round hole as a child, why do you think 6x9s are any different?"

nope dont work.....your webservers MIME types are not configured correctly, its trying to server the files as straight HTML and not a file with header .. in this case WMV. you youtube or vimeo.com (supports proper 720p hd)
