We wont be engine dynoing it if that's what you mean. The limmet car has dont most of the research for us, so will be following it more or less to the letter .. execpt of a couple of things; will be running 8:5.1 compression ratio and the 3.2ltr block instead of 3.0.

Just use glass or carbon fiber and spend the money you save on buying a couple of sets. Bonnets aren't too expensive in carbon fiber. Your looking around 800-1100.

If you pop another one (which I highly doubt) I think we are going to scrap the O-ringing idea and just go straight for what the drag guys in the states are doing and just use pyrimid rings and notch the head and block. You're more than welcome to take a look when its all apart and about to go back together later this year.

Im sorry but thats a massive misconception "car audio experts" will tell you. The same people that will tell you Peak watts was made up by the speaker companies to make there speaks sound like they have more power. The same people that think tweaters up high and mids down low is fine for a "sound image" What happens to the people in the back seat? -

you can trick this by leaving the standard park bulb in some where on the circuit .. all it needs is resistance. Did it on mine no probs ...

this is why I got an alarm ... alarm gets set off .. it keep sending pulses to the door locks to keep them locked .. key or no key.. and I get a nice text message saying my car is being f**ked with even if they get in ... engine wont work -

Have your thought of 19inch E65/E66 20 (or something ) spoke wheels? ... they are not too expensive if you can find them second hand. I know someone who went to JCbmw for theirs and got some scratched ones some customer didnt want anymore. Got them refurbished to new / painted and put them on ... they looked great.

330 touring performance upgrade help. What should I do first?????

manual or auto .. ? Best thing you can do is not so much around the engine. As you will find they have quite good performance as it stands. I would start personally with suspension. Lowering it on some quality springs .. or if you can stomach the cost .. fully adjustible coil over setup. Light weight 18inch (or 19 inch which visually look better on a e46) alloys. Uprate your sway bars to 27mm fronts and 22mm rears and front and rear strut braces, your car will just feel a lot better. Im not sure of the tourings .. but the sedan unibody is a lot stiffer than the coupe one. After this look into the exaust and airbox upgrade. Just be warned, A proper exhaust system for a m54b30 (330©i donk) that is tuned better than stock is quite expensive that will make any worth while agains. (trust me ) however you will be able to get one that sounds good .. and performs just as good as stock for a lot less. From here your looking into serious $$$ to get anything real from the engine at this point in time. (super charger / locked cams / throttle bodies / manual conversion / cable based throttle etc etc) hope that helps
