There are various suppliers for JE pistons around .. but in all honesty shop around, you can get em straight from the manufacturer customised for you anyways. so overseas... -
30 offset rear ? 20 front surge ?

Go see Al's mufflers on the shore. Its not impossible to get a deep sound from a 4 cylinder, just not as easy as bunging a muffler on.

does anyone know where to get wide fender flares?
hybrid replied to basildogz's topic in General Discussion
There isn't much around ... in the front on your Ci you can go m3 front guards and m3 front 01 bumper shell (pre carbon fiber carrier) and you could have to get custom rear fenders welded on ... there are several after market kits around .. but they really do look pants. the m3 GTR wide body ... but if you want flow .. I would look custom using stock m3 guards all round. You do know that your current gaurds will hold a 9.5 inch wheel ? and an 8.5 inch up the front ? .. its pretty wide dude and makes the car look pumped .. I wouldnt worry about gaurds until you are seriously going to be sticking 11inch wheels on the rear. Which is just for bling value and hinders performance. -

sweet keep us updated on how you go ... What our s50 'should' look like when done... note the dish and 'nipped' pistons to stop the piston edges from caving in and 'o-ringing' just give the head gasket a bit more support under higher boost pressure. -

I would do a little reading on general turbo dynamics before started as others have said ... If your looking at cracking the head open ... you may as well spend the $$$ on low comp forged pistons / rods. Do it once do it right I say. -
dude .. give these guys a call about your wheel http://www.brugar.co.nz/index.htm have a look at there page .. they show what they can repair ..

http://jlevistreetwerks.com/store/BMW-E46-...9f596efb7294047 got my headlight replacements from these guys ... they are solid
-
From what we have seen ... the fuel rail .. they a just a tiny bit too small for the higher horse power .. its not so much replacing it .. just modifing it a little, and yeah injectors will defantily be higher rated...
-
for sure, Its not too difficult actually. just a little pricey as you need to get new low comp forged pistons (8:5 1) and rods / multi layer metal head gasket, o-ring the block and head. Custom manifold / fuel rail / injectors / surge tank / dual walbro pumps and custom fuel lines. Correct turbo selection for what you want to achieve. Your crank is forged anyway ... you could nitrogen treat it .. to make it harder .. (still looking into this myself) and weather to coat the pistons for higher operating tempratures. (allows more boost etc etc) You dont need to get go a full ECU .. you could do it with the TRS piggy back .. but you would be limited on a few things with that .. but atleast you get to keep vanos. We are using an SM4 Autronic.
