:bows: BMW electronics god! um just wondering Jochen... could you infact load up your own maps ? Like the one off google maps ? .. I have had quite a bit to do with GPS mapping in the past with my old 4x4ing days. And I use to calibrate my own maps from images files. With NZT and WGS 84 Datum standards I could use a 3 + point marker system on a map and it would be perfect (down to 3 meters) Also wouldnt mind having a catch up at some point

further to this .. watch how many outputs the booster has if you after just a direct replacement, we are running a t junction for ours. Also if your setup has ABS or not .. (pray it doesnt) its a bitch otherwise. We are bending up our own metal lines also but this is easy with about $100 worth of tools.

Yeap you remove your cd stacker and plugin the cable to your existing stacker cable. I removed my old jap coin holder and built the denson ipod carrier into the holder (interesting we mod hehe) nah the neo didnt really impress me at the time. but im sure it has changed since. Exactly what you've said the impedence and signal out put to the amps are proprietary to BMW. You can get aftermarket converters for them, which I'm kind of considering myself. but not till after the e30 is finished. the BSW stuff looks the bizz

Remote booster is the easy way out however not the only way ... I'll be home tonight (for once) and ill photo the engine bay as it stands with the new booster / master cylinder bro ... The audi 88 / vs 25mm master cynlinder, MKII golf 1.3 booster combo will work just I need to know how far your rocker cover comes across .. as the s50 intake plenium location may be infact not as wide as yours ... Just talking to brendon last night, you really can move it more than 40mm across ...

hey mate ... You need the Denson ICELINK Plus for the cd replacement. You will need to buy a converter from your head unit and replace the amps and speakers. Get a international e46 'philips' manufactred headunit to replace the 'alphine' jap one. heading to galbraiths tonight ... more than welcome to talk more sh*t then.

This is an age only ebay trick as well ... Always ask what the shipping price is ... you'll find with open questions people will slowly stop doing it as on items with competition (like radar detectors) it will become a buyers market.. or just buy from the states .. with our .75 dollar its sooo cheap

1300 per seat ... f*** that .. just get the whole car redone for about 2500 ... much beter leather than stock. 27 MacKelvie Grey Lynn PO Box 78117 Grey Lynn Auckland NEW ZEALAND......................................... +64 +9 376 4442 Freephone: 0800 RETRO 4U (0800 738 764) Phone: +64 +9 376 4442 Fax: +64 +9 376 6267 [email protected] and give precision autowerks a call .. they do your trim in titanium graphite for good prices. If you want the look .. 19's ... 18's will still look good though .. 8.5's up front and 10's for the rear. 40 offset. and a mesh design / dished will look great. kitting it with mtech / m5 parts aint cheap .. but you can get stuff from overseas way cheaper. try some of the e39 forums for the look ... its what I did before just buying parts for the 330i ... I knew exactly how I wanted the car to look .. and researched until I got what I wanted.

I guess I have been a bit guilty of not giving a full update on brendons and my project. We have been busy most nights researching and building. But have had little time to post about it ... the small ones I have done have been straight after I've taken a photo. We have a _massive_ howto: being written up .. that we will put online. further to the same old questions being asked over and over again. We are looking into a section of the site / forum that will anwser most "first questions" about the relitive cars. We feel not only this will make it more informative and easier on people .. but hopefully will promote a good "BMW modders" circle (alot like the world class mitsi community here in NZ) We in New Zealand are in the unique / lucky position with our import laws and reasonible laws around modification to modify BMWs to extreme measures. The US forums while good mainly focus around US engines which for the most case can be useless to us. Most of the European forums are in a different language and the UK has very strict insurance brackets. So you dont see a lot of full on modding going on there. My personal dream is to see this site the place to stop for euro bread BMW / english speaking community. With us kiwi's go get it attitude and the depth of knowledge some of the members are willing to share, im sure we can achieve this. My goal with this project was to create a learning platform for both brendon (assault) and myself. To actually say that in my life time 'ive built a car'. To also "some what" provide a flagship for bimmersporters to learn from as well. As I have said before, we are documenting the whole process with photos and ways / reason why we have done things certain ways. Its great to see atleast 6 other conversions of various sorts on these boards.

hybrid One of my favourite electronic producers but as I have been modifying my BMW(s) turning them into something quite different for the past 3 years, the name suits this meaning more

Yup the brakes are Lee Voung hats. Nope they are cylinder shaped rears and the fronts are 'barrel' shaped fronts with a 525/700 pound split. Hard as f**k but its not being made for comfort. We have new adjustible seating in place of a the standard rear spring purch so this shouldn't be a problem. Yeah the LM's were those ones ... Didnt end up dealing through trademe however, just bought them out right. Where going to get custom 313 wheels made up but the LM's came up just in time. Just finishing off the new smaller brake booster / audi 25mm master cylinder fitment. We will clean up the second hand booster later on after the fabrication stage as no point have newly painted / coated parts with welding and sh*t going on. Engine work starts in a couple of weeks, I am quitely excited about this part Just working on the things to be 'don in fabrication' list and the mock up logistics plans.

Test fit for new front spacers vs BBS LM 18x8.5... perfect When the new m3 guards are on we only have to make minor guard adjustments and to the rear inner guard lining. Pretty stoked so far ... and yes the front are at full camber .. they wont be like this full time enjoy

I'm actually suprised by all this ...! ? ... my 330 is one of the quitiest cars I have owned (unless you floor it and wake up mr angry cam vanos). Rog are you sure that it was a stock exaust and if maybe there was something wrong with it ? .. Just sounds wierd to me that it was that annouying ?
