honest questions .. dont worry too much .. the guys round here look down on the cheap power mods .. as they are just that .. cheap .. I would spend that money on getting yourself some schrick cams and high ratio LSD ... youll feel that power for sure

I probably wouldn’t bother as you can pick a mint petrol e46 330i touring up for about 35-40k NZD your probably looking at about 8k+ in transportation costs to get yours over .. and unless your hell bent on diesel .. we don’t have the insurance / taxes you do in the UK so its relatively cheap owning a higher powered petrol car over here .. just a thought .

welcome man ... I suggest before falling into the ole trap of modding your car from advice off high octane ... Have a look around some of the rides on this site and / or the euro sites about style and ideas ... there is quite a bit you can do to these lil cars. and so many wrong ways to do it ... but also so many right ways. Formulate a plan and take the steps you think you can achieve / afford to do .. and remember there are plenty of people on this site whole show you the right ways .. so dont be afraid to ask questions ... and take any light ribbing with a grain of salt here .. no ones serious ..

yeah, I hate to say it .. but one to avoid is skycity on the top levels ... all the gamblers during the day drive their clapped out cars in there and just dont care. See many many times people just opening doors on cars in their ...

yeah ... im uber paraniod with mine ... mainly with doors or touch parking as I have have no front number plate for protection (reflective sticker). I actually go to lengths to park away from these situations... it works though haven't been done yet touch wood.

The 7 is defantily a nice place to be ... I had a wee go in a 745i and the 760iL and they are defanitly great cruisers ... My pick though would be the newer 5 series as its a better drive. Totally depends on whats your bag though.
