I run one of these in my 01 330i ... I have the standard HK 10 speaker package with international 'Business' head unit with a 60gb iPod video plugged in and it works mint. It replaces your CD stacker (plugs into the same plug as your CD stacker) and you use your standard head unit to control it .. http://www.dension.com/icelinkplus.php is what you want and check compatiblity here .. before they had this info I actually emailed them with my headunit details they replied back quickly. http://www.dension.com/oem.php awesome product. would never go back to CDs they have products for after market head units too .. have a hunt around on the site. attached is a dump off the site for audi and also a pic of where I have my Ipod in my old jap coin holder space.

start down at Bavarian Motors and talk to Ray. he'll sort you out ...

its an m20b25 that has had _a lot_ of money spent on the head to get it to flow properly to get the CFM up so they didnt have to run as much boost .. (around 25psi) Welded the water channels / jackets to stop the block crumbling under boost and obviously its forged. You still would be better buying an m50 non vanos and turboing that. It would work out cheaper as its 24 valves not 12 valve and would would spend every waking hour working out how to get the same flow outta 12 valves. more boost isnt everything remember you just end up dumping silly amount of fuel to keep the thing from going pop.

so tyte .... congrats man .. it takes something special to end up in a mag .. and I think you have achieved that perfectly with the right amount of tasteful modding creating something well dope. Ive said it before ... and ill say it again about this car, _this_ is how you mod properly

yeah I re-read it myself after posting .. it was a lil over opinionated ... Basically .. some of the speakers are 8ohm not 4 (which normal car audio is standardised at.. ) That and the signal from the standard head unit is not your normal line level RCA type signal .. You can buy converters for the standard head unit .. but I think you have to replace the amps and speakers to match. Im personally not in any hurray with my as the 10 speaker H/K system is more than enough for me and I dont listen to music at loud volumes anyways (spend too much time on stage doing that hehe ) I would check out e46fanatics.com dude .. its where I go too ..

Yeah, but remember hes running it on the drag circuit constantly launching it hard on drag radials a lot ... they have only just gone to this setup .. he was stock before this. If this car ends up down that road competitively .. ill do the same no doubt. Getting custom wheels made so no worries ... and we are running 6 pot up the front on 332x35mm rotors. Will post the pics soon after welds are done ..

You dont want to know how much the e30 m3 / m-coupe way costs .. its really only if you looking at sticking over 500whp on an e30. Ended up buying most of it brand new as there is next to 0 people wrecking either an e30 m3 or m-coupe in NZ.. its also not the only way to do this. The guys in sweden are using m5 bits. Glens way is far more cost effective and probably more of what youre looking for and as glens proven its good for nice amounts of HP too.
