we at Active Autowerke have a turbo manifold for the RHD cars. If you are looking to go turbo we can help you out. Contact me if you want more info. The AA guys know what their talking about ... Im personally looking at getting the AA Supercharger unit for mine (RHD E46)Also check out www.e46psi.com .. more e46 based but some great info there.
  3. I wouldn't worry, The amount of court costs the government will be paying out will far out weigh revenue collected, it will be dropped soon enough, just like hidden speed cameras.
  4. andrew ... anything happening about this sunday (30th)? .. I have to start planning times now .. go a crap load on at the mo ... cheers mate
  5. yeah itll be fine .. but lack of back pressure on a N/A long term can end up turning making your car blow blue smoke. just from past experience of owning jappas that did this.
  6. RE the muffler .. what size engine you running ? I wouldnt stick a 330 3ltr specific muffler on anything less than a 2.5ltr... back pressure will be an issue long term. suspension will be fine ...

  8. Turns out there is a company in the states making a bolt on LSD solution for the e46, with your choice of ratios. Im not really the type to smoke it up or fish tail and I enjoy my traction controls ablities to get me outta the mess when needed. but jesus .... I am sooo tempted! .. specially once the supercharger arrives.. more info.. http://koalamotorsport.com/diffs.asp

  19. Depends on the offset ... if they are modelled for the M3 they are setup for a gaurd that can handle a 10inch rim. e46 M3's have a slightly wider track than the non M3s. For e36 owners, Im pretty sure the most you can run is a 245 / 8.5inch rim on the rear. This is a Pic of the wheels on trade me on a '00 m3 For the front you'll be fine but it is possible you may need to roll the back... check my gaurds out, I'm running a 9.5 rim on the back with a 42 offset (m3 offset).. should be running 38 :/ dam shop stuffed up. In this photo you can see how close I run. The main problem is the bolt where the bumper connects to the fender (under the gaurd) and the top lip of the gaurd (which needs to be flared a little) get it done professionally as they know how to do it without cracking your paint. Oh all this info is also based on if your thinking about running super low springs or adjustable coil overs. Which I highly recommend, else your car is gonna A) look too high due to an 19inch wheel increasing the appearance of wheel size (bigger wheel smaller tire height) and B ) Lowering the center of gravity which is really important running a staggered wheel setup so you don't get teh understeer awww (235 and 265 tires). hope this helps
  20. yeap all in the offset ... seeing as they are purpose design for e46 .. you'd be sweet
  21. ahh riding 19s qith 30 profile aint all that bad .... you only have to just avoid/take it easy on: Manhole covers, potholes, big cats eyes, driveways, judderbars, cattlestops, rocks, gravel roads, roadworks, open road shoulders, curbs and erm ... I think thats about it. people look at me weird driving down the road avoiding manhole covers ...
  22. the main difference is the drive and suspension setup (oh and the your missing a boot ) in all seriousness .. I think they would be some what the same.
