I just had to do the head gasket just to get rid of a f**kin oil leak, so I did the cam belt at the same time. And had to cut, drill and re-tap the exhaust flange stud holes... on good friday... without the right tap...

Bloody lucky on that corner that you didn't have lotsa trucks flying around at the time. Lots of market garden warehouses and a trucking company up the road off that intersection. I work up there.

I'm about to do the same to my stock rims (bottlecaps) coz the centre caps are a slightly different silver. What Forrest said was right.

Takes 3 minutes to find out with the last 7 numbers of the VIN. Pretty sure I carjam'd it and it was guennie, but apparently now they dont give VINs free anymore. I'm about to change my head gasket due to an oil leak and I was wondering if the head can be taken off with the intake/exhaust manifolds still in place (coz I'm cheap, just had a new baby, and generally cant afford to pay for every gasket it would need). I'll be getting an exhaust flange gasket. Anything I should keep an eye out for hidden under the intake? I'll be doing the cam belt and tensioner at the same time. Thanks.

^^ that was how we fixed engine over rev warning on an old isuzu truck Was able to get it to 100kph with that "fixed" (Same truck also had the "brake light out" warning fixed that way too!)
